March was very average in Winnipeg. Delightful warmth mid-month, then lingering chilliness in the second half. The most unusual aspect was the lack of snow cover in the second half. Snow depth dropped to trace after the 15th but cold weather prevented a total melt to 0cm.

I'm always interested in "NW Flow" convective events. There might be one over far eastern MB/into NW Ont on Sun. Not the perfect setup but it's worth watching. NW Flow events can catch forecasters off guard, but there's usually a good conference paper in it.
