#Saruscrane pairs often make vocal calls together. One starts, generally the male, while the other finishes in a way that makes it hard to know when the vocal changeover has taken place. Sometimes, both start and finish together.

Did you know that Sarus Cranes are famous for forming lifelong partnerships, staying loyal to a single mate throughout their lives
Once a pair forms, they:
- Stay together year after year
- Defend their territory as a team
- Raise chicks together
- Perform synchronized dances to strengthen their bond
- If one partner dies, the surviving crane may stop breeding
