Amazing win today! I was very happy to have been given the opportunity to voice my concerns as a Palestinian student at UofT in today’s @uoftsu Board of Directors meeting. The board voted to sign on to the Muslim Students Association’s letter in solidarity with Palestine.
Sarah Ingle, the report's author, said that she began researching after she learned how academic integrity cases at U of T used metadata as evidence during their trial.

More signers please. Unless you are fine with this. Boycott and cut all ties with Tel Aviv University and the Greenberg Institute until Ahmed and other detained Palestinian bodies are freed, without stipulation, to their families and loved ones for burial. https://t.co/H1gEGpRQ1a

CAUT Council has voted to invoke censure against the UofT for its failure to resolve concerns regarding academic freedom stemming from the aborted hiring of Dr. Azarova.
So much respect to @UofT community members who are taking the @CAUT_ACPPU censure to heart.
Cancelling such amazing events are a huge sacrifice. But it reminds the university administration that the #UofTScandal will not fade away.
Event cancellation: the greater academic community has been called upon to boycott UofT. This includes speaking engagements and is meant to continue until the decisions that led to censure have been more thoroughly addressed. Full statement: https://t.co/pXUIq9icSF
A Canadian public university is being dismantled today: Sudbury's Laurentian University (was a) northern university that served many communities, including Indigenous and Francophone. Shame on the Province, LU Board of Governors and its Admin.
