Correcting lolicons ๐ข๐ญ
I don't block unless spamming, malicious, or you can't keep a train of thought :3
My chat is always open for discussions.
@juliachangsfeet Irrelevant to my comment which instead fixated on the majority, not the minority. I argued the opposite, that among the minority are those who probably weren't simply exploiting the situation for a virtue signal.
@joseisaac1608@mewnoelle Calling someone a word doesn't magically imbue them with immorality, which is where your argument makes no sense, in it's premise.
@Dizzle_tan Didn't the majority claim you were correct to make such a rash moralistic claim about art? If so, I wonder why you decided to accept the 5% instead.
I don't think people cared about your values, though they may claim they did, it seemed more about virtue signalling against porn.
@TobiRadiolarian@Dizzle_tan Consuming psycho-active mushrooms may lead to higher openness and thus more likely to reject reification and sanctity. This might not be good for someone who wishes to subjugate their experience to a narrow worldview. If that's what you want then by all means, do what you want.
@Diwergenz@kissschuss Things eventually just click, and these days more catastrophic issues are significantly less likely to occur. I would argue learning Blender is more difficult than learning linux and how to troubleshoot it.
@TrooperTweet@Dizzle_tan Not on it, it's also primarily subsidized by the federal government.
Note, my comment above is constructive, it refers to philosophy while addressing the issue of moralism and it's effect on people's perceptions.
The point is that art is not immoral, nor is morality objective.
@Carlone921 Based on what you said before blocking me, you ran away after failing to understand what a proper defense of loli looks like, all while thinking I'm the problem.
You do realize your statements, when if viewed from another angle, are actually anti-fiction.
Do you understand how?
@Carlone921 The point is that a loli is often a 1:1 mapping of prepubescent traits and roles, the significant difference would largely be isolated to facial features, and even then you can mix realism with anime.
Diana from Pragmata is an example, are you an anti toward sexualizing Diana?
@Carlone921 The misconception is in the term "representation," e.g. An eevee represents traits associated with foxes, cats, rabbits, etc., but represents cuteness, softness, and smoothness significantly more.
Just like Fluttershy doesn't look like a literal pony, yet does derive traits.
@Carlone921@sweeetoooth69 Whether or not a character is canonically older only matters if you believed that if they were canonically younger, your opinion would change.
If an author said their character was five, would you suddenly become anti-fiction because of a canonical age? I think not.
@Carlone921 To be clear, your initial comment was posted as though you never read it's second sentence regarding P's failure to map to L, and your claim of simplification is instead a misunderstanding of the first sentence. My response above just clarifies the misconception.
@Carlone921 Pokemon characters can appeal to particular borrowed animal traits but arenโt a primary focus, similar to MLP, which are in some ways closer to chibis than they are to actual ponies. Lolis, in contrast, retain key prepubescent anatomical traits within an anime stylization.
@kissschuss They don't end up with the same response when overeating and have larger stomachs. Higher metabolism and smaller stomachs can make a significant difference to overall weight. I think there's a combination of things as well, like procrastination, failure to control impulse, etc.
@Heroson2341 Yet I hold neither moralist views, e.g. I support liberty for a citizenry not for any duty or virtue, but because it's the sure way to increase my overall well-being (liberty x capability). I utilize liberty to further values derived from my nature and experience.
