This whole drama with Dangote is sad.

First, Dangote as a brand is the first and perhaps only economic Leviathan in Nigeria with concerns all over the manufacturing and food industries making it the biggest contributor to Nigerian jobs on the private side.

Second, regulators should remain nondescript and shouldn’t be making the inflamatory comments we have been hearing from government officials, you cannot label a company, a monopoly where it has both viable and burgeoning competitors.
