@markjohnsonhome @CrootMatt I've not seen today's game yet. But if the players are not delivering the basics needed to deliver the game plan, either the plan needs changing or the coach needs to develop the individuals. This has been going on for close on 2 years. That suggests poor coaching.

@CrootMatt @markjohnsonhome Yes. It's the lack of progress that concerns me most. It looked as if good foundations had been laid in January two years ago. Since then we have not built on those foundations. Indeed, we are now looking worse than at any time in Lam's tenure. It's not good enough.

An outstanding forward, who was capped by England in all three back row positions, he was unquestionably one of the greatest players ever to wear a Bristol shirt.
