कैंसर एक ऐसी बीमारी ने जिसने करोड़ो घर तबाह किए हैं ।
सिर्फ मरीज ही नहीं बल्कि मरीज के परिवारों को ।

दवाइयों का खर्च वहन करते करते लोग टूट जाते हैं ।

और कैसे नहीं टूटेंगे अगर 600 रुपये की दवाई पर सरकार ने छूट दे रखी है 12000 रुपये MRP रखने की ।

जी हाँ ।
दवाई है Paclitaxel ।
रिटेलर खरीदते हैं 600 में और MRP है 12000.

एक मरीज को कई बार 20-30 vial की ज़रूरत पड़ती है ।

और ये कोई एक दवाई की बात नहीं ।
कीमोथेरेपी की ज़्यादातर दवाइयों का यही हाल है ।

200% मार्जिन भी समझ में आता है लेकिन 1900% margin??
वो कैंसर जैसी बीमारी में , जिसका इलाज वैसे भी काफ़ी लंबा चलता है??

ग़रीब तो मर ही जाएगा ना?

There are essential medicines for cancer for which MRP is ₹27000 and PTR (price to retailer) is ₹2700. That’s absolute rampage and carnage and broad day light dacoity with the patients. How can a patient be cheated for a medicine which the manufacturer sells to the retailer at ₹2700 and MRP is printed at ₹27000? It is surprising that the authorities who are supposed to take a decision on this are absolutely silent. We need not spell out the reasons for that: Supreme Court

The most expensive part of a hospital bill may never touch the hospital at all.

A patient admitted for care has no way of knowing whether the price on a medical consumable reflects its actual cost or a markup fixed long before it ever reached the ward. That gap in information is, at its core, a public health issue.

A survey of hospital consumables in Maharashtra found an IV infusion set with a trade price of ₹11.05 carrying a printed MRP of ₹325 ; a markup of 2,841%. A syringe procured at ₹6.75 carried an MRP of ₹57.20. A catheter procured at ₹29.41 carried an MRP of ₹310.

These are not elective purchases. Patients cannot compare prices, seek alternatives, or question a number printed on a box while receiving care and the MRP itself is often fixed upstream by manufacturers and distributors, disconnected from the trade price by a wide, unexplained margin. The result is a system where the party bearing the cost has the least information to evaluate it.

The regulatory gap is structural: scheduled medicines are capped under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013. Most medical devices and consumables are not leaving both the pricing and the information around it almost entirely unmonitored.

A review of these findings and clear guidelines on the permissible gap between trade procurement price and declared MRP have been recommended to the Department of Pharmaceuticals and the NPPA ; a step toward closing not just a pricing gap, but the information gap patients are left to bear alone.

1. Don't play the woman card. You were not criticized for your gender, but for your choice of clothes in an ad. You are bringing gender into this to make it a women's issue and seek wider support from women and male feminists. It's not a gender issue. Even Ranveer Singh was criticized on Twitter for a nude photoshoot. He didn't play the gender card.

2. Personal choice stops where public commercialization begins. What you wear off-camera is entirely your prerogative. You've been in this business for years. Until now, nobody bothered you about your choice of clothes. You know why? Because nobody actually cares what you wear. The outrage here comes from a commercial choice: sexualizing a deeply sacred festival celebrated by millions. Context dictates appropriateness. If a male actor appeared bare-chested while portraying the brother in that exact scene, the public pushback would be identical. The issue is sacredness and context, not gender.

3. Claiming "clothes don't define culture" directly contradicts human history. Attire is a foundational visual language of every global tradition, you cannot wear a Kimono and call it Indian ethnic wear, nor can you strip a festival of its sacred aesthetic without altering its significance. If attire truly has zero bearing on cultural respect, then tomorrow is Eid. Can you wear that exact same outfit you wore in that ad and wish Eid Mubarak? You said clothes don't define the respect you have for culture in your heart. So do it and we'll take our criticism back.

Respecting a tradition means honoring its context, not commodifying it under the guise of fashion.

1. She shouted at least three times at the Indian Army ‐ "We are Gen Z". Since when has being Gen Z been a license to do anything?

2. She said to the soldiers - "You all are getting salaries from our taxes... You think you are above us now?" Well, paying taxes does not put anyone above the rules. Soldiers don’t take pleasure in enforcing restrictions. If they are standing there, they are doing it for strong reasons and for your safety.

3. She said twice - "We are tourists". So? If you are a tourist, you have to follow the rules and regulations of that particular area. Whether you go to Kashmir or anywhere else, you are expected to respect the local laws, security requirements, and instructions of the authorities.

Freedom does not mean freedom from rules.

केंद्र सरकार ने राजस्थान कैडर के 1994 बैच के IAS अधिकारी नरेश पाल गंगवार को शिक्षा मंत्रालय में सचिव नियुक्त किया है। यह नियुक्ति ऐसे समय हुई है, जब उनके परिवार को सरकारी बागवानी योजना से ₹1.16 करोड़ से अधिक की सब्सिडी मिलने का मामला सवालों के घेरे में है। जून माह में प्रकाशित इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की पड़ताल के मुताबिक गंगवार की पत्नी, बेटे और मां को पांच वर्षों के दौरान जयपुर में खीरा उत्पादन की तीन परियोजनाओं के लिए कुल ₹1.16 करोड़ से अधिक की सब्सिडी मिली। पत्नी की परियोजना को ₹24.36 लाख, बेटे की परियोजना को ₹46.49 लाख और मां की परियोजना को ₹46.03 लाख दिए गए थे।

🚨NEWS: What is truly shameful is that instead of taking action against the officer, the administration is arguing that the vehicle’s number plate was broken, the documents were incomplete, and it was being driven at night.

But does that justify assaulting someone?

So far, the officer has not even been asked to provide an explanation, which is the bare minimum that should have been done.
