The youth at Jantar Mantar are not just protesting for jobs—they are fighting for the future of the Republic.

A nation where over one crore sanctioned government posts remain vacant while millions of educated young people remain unemployed is not facing a shortage of talent. It is facing a crisis of governance.

When recruitment exams are repeatedly marred by paper leaks, irregularities, and allegations of corruption, faith in merit begins to collapse. When honest preparation no longer guarantees a fair opportunity, frustration turns into alienation. This is not merely an employment issue—it is a constitutional issue.

The Republic was built on the promise that every citizen would have an equal chance through education, merit, and the rule of law. If recruitment becomes arbitrary or compromised, that promise is weakened. Young people lose trust not only in governments but also in institutions meant to protect fairness.

The movement at Jantar Mantar is therefore larger than any one organisation or political party. It speaks to every student, every unemployed graduate, every family investing their savings in education, and every citizen who believes that public institutions should function honestly.

The clip also makes another important point: unemployment, corruption, and broken recruitment systems do not discriminate between political supporters and opponents. They affect everyone. Likewise, hatred and communal division only distract from the real issues that shape the future of India's youth. A Republic survives when citizens unite around justice, accountability, and equal opportunity—not when they are divided against one another.

Democracy cannot thrive if an entire generation begins to believe that hard work matters less than connections, corruption, or luck. A nation that fails its youth ultimately weakens its own future.

The young people at Jantar Mantar are asking for something fundamental: fill vacant public posts transparently, conduct fair examinations, punish corruption, and restore faith in institutions. These are not partisan demands—they are the minimum expectations of a functioning Republic.
