Like #Labour councils, some #LibDem controlled councils have been in power for too long and have stopped listening to residents.
In #Sutton, after dumping in #LTNs that 86% opposed & other utter failings, the residents have had ENOUGH!
#VoteThemAllOut2022@LTNfailKT4
Could it be the #LTN cycle lobby and NIMBY serving #Labour & #LibDem councils are rushing to make their damaging, polluting undemocratic schemes permanent because they are concerned their lord and master Bojo & his cycle mafia sidekick Gilligan will be gone soon?
In today's Sunday Telegraph I argue that LTNs penalise people living on most main & boundary roads, don't reduce chronic congestion on key roads, and are too divisive to form the basis for the transformational policies to tackle traffic that we need.
@CllrBatt Again @CllrBatt you attend a public event but continue to not show up for your own ward surgeries. Worcester Park would like a refund for what you’re paid to represent this ward
There is nothing neighbourly about Low Traffic Neighbourhoods. They are the equivalent of me tidying out my house, slinging all my rubbish over the garden fence then patting myself on the back for how clean my house is. Let’s not pretend, LTNs undermine & divide neighbourhoods.
What was that Labour Cllrs were calling normal residents against LTNs? Vigilantes? Yet it appears what they 'really meant' was their nasty friends in the LCC.
New: Ex head of London Ambulance Service Garrett Emmerson just admitted on @LBC that Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) have delayed paramedic response times - "yes."
@suttonguardian @CharsleyMonica1 why have you not covered the CPZ story in Worcester Park? It’s a story of corrupt @SuttonCouncil that pushed it thru even tho 92% voted against and it’s now been revealed the data they used was flimsy and half baked #coverup#halfbaked#report_it
Headline News:
(We missed this one)
"Cycle mobsters have their Judicial Review request to reinstate the RBKC failed cycle lane kicked out of High Court!"
Rightly so as residents didn't want it and the council listened to them. @JamesBurdass@cristo_radio
