If the goal is to win a World Series and MLB rules allow forfeits, why would Mets and Braves not take advantage of the rule? Tough on the Dbacks, but a day off would be huge for both teams.

Pitch Timer is the best thing to happen to baseball. There are hardly any violations making it almost unnoticeable, while drastically changing the pace of the game. Why did we wait so long?!
@mleiman1 I’m not sure they would come out and say that, but there has to be some talented winning teams that lacked chemistry. I just know players work/play harder when they play for something other than them self. Baseball is a team sport but it can get very individualized at times.
Is there a stat to measure clubhouse chemistry and leadership? My guess is the Phillies would be at the top of this. Super talented team but they seem to all feed off and pull for each other. If I was building a team this would be the first model I’m going off of.
@TheDanMoser Probably the most important. You are going to have access to the best coaches, facilities for all 30 teams but chemistry is what pushes and motivates you to be accountable. Not to mention it makes you want to be at the field.
