UMS 8th Grader, Emma Fritts, Mrs Nunnally’s art student, not only won First Place in the Middle School division of the Cummins Filtration’s “Eyes of Diversity” contest, she also one the Grand Prize of the event! She was chosen from all the middle school and high school winners!

UMS yearbooks are in!! The yearbook staff is sorting the books purchased and will have those to their homeroom teachers soon!! There are a few extras!! Send your $50 check or cash to Mrs. Nunnally to purchase a book. The online store is closed.

You can turn in your physicals to the front office at UMS. We will not have any mandatory practices over the summer— start back up in the Fall/Winter. 😊

Mrs Nunnally’s 7th Grade art classes traveled to Nashville to visit the Frist Art Museum to see the Alma Thomas exhibition. They also did some hands on art at the museum’s Art Quest. They had a picnic lunch at the Bicentennial Mall.
