We want to increase the number of childhood health screenings in Mississippi. There are two tools currently on the table that help communities reach this goal: Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visitations (MIECHV) and Medicaid screenings.
Welcome Dr. Renia Dotson to the culture of prevention! The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) has appointed Dr. Dotson as the new State Epidemiologist. She'll be responsible for watching disease trends, investigating outbreaks, and finding ways to stop or prevent them.
