I tried some new things yesterday! I went to a drag & drive for the first time and I also recorded video the whole time I walked around the pits, so this was like a 40 minute upload to YouTube 😳 but if you want to get a good look behind the scenes of Sick Week Day 3 check out the video I uploaded to see what was going on in the pits. Congratulations to long time UPR friend and all around great guy Tommy Youmans @tommy.youmans.56 for winning Limited Drag Radial at the U.S. Street Nationals at @bradentonmotorsportspark part of the @dragillustrated winter series! Tommy’s Pontiac Powered twin turbo GTO carried him through a tough field with a string of 3.91 second e.t.s where he faced Justin Martin in the final round. Tommy’s GTO Judge left the starting line and slammed down the gavel with a 3.86 at 196.3 pass to take the win! Hanging idle after start up or between shifts then a common cure is restricting the amount of air going into the IAC Valve. This Billet aluminum restrictor plate goes between the intake and IAC Valve and limits the amount of air reducing the time to idle hangs. Does not affect factory emissions equipment.
