Lancashire Police have arrested a 37-year-old man following an assault on a 10-year-old boy and subsequent threats made in Whitworth. The incident took place around Spring Mill Avenue on Tuesday evening,7 July 2026. According to reports from the Lancashire Telegraph, a video shared on social media depicted a man entering a front garden and striking a young boy. Officers responded to reports of an assault. Although the suspect initially fled, police later arrested the 37-year-old man.Current Charges: The individual remains in custody on suspicion of assault and using hreatening behaviour.
