The massacre of 167 girls between the ages of 7 and 12 in their classrooms at an elementary school in Iran is the greatest atrocity committed by America since the Vietnam War. Near the streets of Hormuz, in a remote and almost unknown region of Iran, and for no reason that anyone can comprehend. Sixty others were wounded in the hospital.

Later, on the very first day of the war, 40 volleyball players, three complete teams of female athletes, were killed in a single airstrike... You might not even know about the massacre of the schoolgirls. This is the largest recorded massacre of schoolgirls in world history.

Yet, no one is talking about it. I don't want to overstate this point, but just reflect for a moment: if Russia had killed 167 Ukrainian schoolgirls, if Palestinians had killed 167 Israeli schoolgirls, if Iran had killed 167 schoolgirls, it would have been the biggest journalistic story in the world for years.
