⚽FIFA World Cup⚽ has everyone looking at country rankings... so I thought it'd be fun to look at GD&T rankings!
Among the world's 20 largest economies, here are the top 10 countries by number of ASME GDTP Senior-certified engineers (Y14.5-2009 Edition):
For quick context, the two most popular GD&T standards are maintained by ASME and ISO. Not sure about ISO's but ASME's highest certification is the GDTP Senior (1994 or 2009) designation, which requires passing a rigorous 6-hour exam and demonstrating at least five years of professional GD&T experience.
After a year of aggressive development and validation, we have captured the complete ASME Y14.5-2018 framework in our knowledge layer.
This was accomplished without AI models or cloud-based systems. Our on-device platform can deterministically recognize hundreds of unique GD&T errors directly from the design files engineering teams already produce.
As a DDTC/ITAR-registered company, we've supported several OEMs by helping identify issues that could lead to production risks across aerospace and defense programs.

Tesla makes great cars. The fact that buying one supports an amazing team of inspiring builders is a secondary benefit, not alone a good reason to buy one.
Hi Hardware Twitter, here's a list of the hardware conferences (mostly in the US) we've attended or tracked this year.
There's definitely value in the mega conferences like CES and IMTS. But for us, some of our best relationships started at the lesser-known events.
Hopefully it's useful for hardware engineers, operators, and founders planning out their conference schedules.
Comment or DM me what you're building and I'll send this as a spreadsheet with links!
@codyaims@AtomsNotBits@TryOpenX I see - what happens if the student wants to bail after taking the training program or wants to work for a non sponsoring employer, do they pay for the tuition themselves? Glad an Income Share Agreements (ISAs) was not brought up … some SWE boot camps used this
@MecAgent Would be good to reach out to some specialists or trainers to get help with fundamentals. Drawings are highly consequential so very important drawings are not treated as subjective paperwork that should be sped through. Lotta money, time, and safety at risk when not right…
@MecAgent as a ASME GDTP and full-time GD&T review tool developer - fully onboard with making useful tools but for feedback… all the generated drawings in the demo have serious GD&T errors and are not Y14.5-2018 compliant.
