DSA rightists now displaying the exact same shrieking hysteria that the Kamala crew did during the 2024 election over the issue of complicity in genocide. Same appeals to "pragmatism", same incandescent rage towards anti-zionist protestors. Absolutely pathetic.
My town in Palestine was set on fire by settlers and 🌹 Twitter wants me to be moved by Zohran planting an olive tree at his home while standing with the very people responsible for killing mine? Don’t insult me me with symbolism while my people are being buried beneath it.
Taking full utility from a reformist left government as revolutionaries lies exactly in constructively pointing out their systemic inability to follow through on some of their grander ideals as a fallacy of their ideology, while, and this is key, offering organisational alternatives. The inability for Zohran to distance himself from the omnipresent zionist lobby is one such contradiction nobody should be afraid to point to out of fear of being a “wrecker” or something - just PLEASE make sure you contextualise your critique as a way to push people from his camp further left - liberal moralising will only spawn political apathy and miss out on a powerful opportunity.
Zohran Mamdani might prove to be one of the single most dangerous political figures since Barack Obama. The way that he's sucked so much of the US "left" straight back into the status quo of the democratic party (while re-normalizing zionism) is so sad to watch play out
Idolizing Mamdani is actually dangerous, and it's largely by people who are politically disengaged. They've created an environment where no one can criticize and protest him, which is happening as he backtracks on public housing, policing, education, and Palestine.
our new full length album Breach will be here in september.
the first song, The Contract, comes out june 12th.

This video illustrates an important point about the psychology of driving. Cars grant power, anonymity and impunity in a system optimized for the driver’s convenience and property. Ordinary people become the worst versions of themselves. Walking is healthy. It’s also civilized.
One of the MOST IMPORTANT THINGS your city could do to become more healthy, sustainable, livable, affordable, equitable, successful — stop pretending to “balance” transportation modes, and commit to PRIORITIZING walking/rolling, biking, public transit. HT @dublincycling’s graphic
My sweet summer child…
The issue is that we have millions of cars on the road and it creates a lot of awful bottle necks. on top of that we have to devote so much physical space to feed this addiction.
