Across Seattle, Little Free Pantries connect neighbors sharing food with people who need it. How does food move through these grassroots spaces? And how can data and technology help us better understand and support community-driven food security?

"We're talking about free food, but people still pay." Not financially, but in time, distance, and effort. Seattle's network of micropantries helps reduce barriers, but without clear data, it is difficult to see where and what support is needed most.

At Seattle’s @pike_place, pedestrians, residents, workers, deliveries, emergency access, and business activity all share a small, highly active civic space. We're working on a pilot with @seattledot to reduce vehicle access in core streets this summer.

.@pike_place is one of Seattle’s most active shared spaces. To better understand street access patterns, we're conducting short, anonymous visitor experience survey. If you’ve been to Pike Place Market recently, your perspective matters. Take the survey: https://t.co/sWCl0fgwWb
