A 9 year old boy drowned Monday 6/15/26
in Henrico County, VA after his mother dropped him off for swim camp at SwimRVA-North, located at 317 North Wilkinson Road. It was King’s first day at swim camp and he was excited to learn how to swim.
His mother, LaTaisha Johnson, is demanding answers as to how her son drowned at a swim camp that was meant to teach children how to swim. Henrico Police are refusing to call it a drowning!!! We can’t let them cover this up.
His name was King Overton! 💔💔💔💔
The mother of missing 16 year old Aysia Banks:
"I am gonna be full transparent and share everything surrounding the disappearance of my daughter , because CMPD is playing it like a runaway case and it’s being taking lightly.
For those wanting answers … here are the answers. I know it’s a lot but I need you all to read and please share.
I am speaking out to bring urgent attention to the disappearance of my daughter, Aysia, and to express my grave concern regarding the current handling of her case.
CMPD is currently classifying this as a runaway; however, the circumstances surrounding her disappearance strongly suggest she is in danger and may have been groomed or manipulated.
HERE ARE THE FACTs:
• Last Seen: Tuesday night ( April 14th -early morning of April 15th)
• I was working a night shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.). My 9-year-old son reported that Aysia left with a bag during the night.
• When I arrived home, all of Aysia’s known electronics were left behind. Her phone enters automatic "Downtime" at 11 p.m., restricting her communication to parents only. Her other parent is currently out of the country.
• Because she left her devices behind, I believe she was either using a secondary device I was unaware of to communicate with someone, or arrangements were made prior to 11 p.m.
Aysia is 16 years old and has no history of running away or behavioral issues.
She is a dedicated Honors Student and a member of the National Honors Society.
She values her education and would never willingly miss school or abandon her younger brother in this manner.
And none of her close friends has any answers or any clue about her disappearance.
Between the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m., a 16-year-old girl is extremely vulnerable. Whether she was lured away willingly or forced, she is a minor alone in the middle of the night. I believe she has been targeted and groomed.
Something is wrong.
My daughter is not a "troubled child” she is a child who is missing, and someone else is involved.
I am asking for the community’s help and for law enforcement to treat this with the severity it deserves.
23-year-old Ashanti Allen, who was 8 months pregnant, went missing for 8 days after leaving to get food. She was tragically murdered by her boyfriend, who had a history of abusing her. He was released from prison early and then k*lled her.
For five months, a father waited for his 3-year-old daughter’s release from federal custody after she was apprehended by ICE while crossing the border with her mother. He just learned that the toddler was placed in a foster home where she was sexually abused. https://t.co/TH3s8dqX5o
Midwife Dr. Janell Green Smith died moments after giving birth to her first child yesterday.
She was a midwife at a birth center in South Carolina. In the last 5 years, she has caught over 200 babies. Devastating and preventable.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.” ~ Psalm 28:7 (NIV)
You don’t have to manufacture strength today, just make room for it.
Multiple children have been rescued from a secret underground bunker in Alabama, where they were held and abused for over a year.
Authorities say the children, aged three to ten, were d*ugged, r*ped, and trafficked by a group of men who sold them to clients for s*xual exploitation.
The bunker was part of a hidden operation built to keep them completely isolated from the outside world.

Florida debates lifting some child labor laws to fill jobs vacated by undocumented immigrants. Bill would allow 14-yr-olds to work overnight shifts, end guaranteed meal breaks for 16/17-yr-olds.

On January 7th, 2025 I shared a video, after I was asked to call UnitedHealthcare from the operating room to answer administrative questions about the patient who was having surgery to treat breast cancer. Despite my efforts, they denied her stay.
UnitedHealthcare didn’t stop at calling me during surgery. Now, they’ve sent me a legal threat—and even worse? They ended up denying my cancer patient’s hospital stay. Exactly what I was afraid would happen.
Staying overnight after major surgery isn’t optional—it’s medically necessary. But UnitedHealthcare decided they know better than the doctors caring for the patient.
When they called me while I was operating, I knew that if I didn’t step out and respond immediately, they might deny her stay—leaving her with a massive bill. So, with another surgeon in the OR, I scrubbed out and called them back. But after all of that? They denied her stay anyway.
And instead of fixing their broken system, they sent me a legal threat for speaking out.
I’m sharing their response in full, letting their words speak for themselves.
Let me be clear: I stand by everything I said. I told the truth. I was honest about what’s happening in our healthcare system. And I will not be silenced by legal threats when it comes to advocating for my patients and my ability to care for them.
Denying an overnight stay that a doctor orders is dangerous. The doctor caring for the patient should be able to make these decisions without delay, pressure, or harassment.
If I don’t speak up, I lose—my integrity, my voice, and the opportunity to make a difference. And while it’s intimidating to receive a letter like this from a company as powerful as UnitedHealthcare, I know where I stand.
I am a woman taking care of women affected by breast cancer. I do this work with all of my heart, and I will continue to speak up for my patients—because they deserve better.
I ask you to follow along, share this story, and have these conversations in your own communities. I know I’m not the only one dealing with this, and real change will take all of us telling our stories and standing up for what’s right.
I’m here for it. Are you?
