Praying for generosity, kindness, and wisdom at today's summit meeting of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation. #Gavi #4mlives

I have lost the beat - frequently failing to bake and contemplate. Need to find the new rhythm of this season.

A sudden change to the pace of life has meant that I haven't baked #RealBread all week. I should probably get a sponge going this evening.

Today's loaf was one of my best yet. Definitely in terms of texture. Trying to think what I did differently. #realbread

Friend that I offered healing prayer to reports others have made similar kind approaches to him on high-street. On earth as it is in heaven.

Obedience is simple yet we tend to complicate it, usually in an attempt to actually avoid it.

I've read a lot regarding the sacrifice & courage of living the way of Jesus - especially anti-consumerism. Do we make too many concessions?

Here be the place of praise by night and day - of welcome in the air; a place where people learn and play - where land is tilled with care.

A rule of life should be about rhythm; values encouraged & exemplified rather than about any prescribed enforcement. Pray, work, rest, play?

[urbanmonastic @urbanmonastic]

Considering the value of routine in life. Should I write more structure into my day? Would that help me to do more things that I want to do?

My first attempt at sourdough went well. Looking forward to bringing some improvements. #realbread

The evening's bake has been wild-yeast sourdough pizza with home-made tomato sauce, home-grown basil, and mozzarella di bufala campana. Mmm

[urbanmonastic @urbanmonastic]

I have prepared the sponge and now leaving it to ferment overnight. Intrigued to see how my first wild-yeast sourdough turns out! #RealBread

Artisan bread basics course booked with the community run Handmade Bakery later this month. Looking forward to it. #schoolofslow #realbread

Risen Christ, you revealed yourself to Thomas when he felt the scars in your body: reveal yourself to us as we touch the scars of the world.

Spring joins us in awaiting the resurrected Creator incarnate. Each year it rises out of the dead ground imitating The Life defeating death.

God is dead and buried in a tomb. The tragic loss of our rabbi and friend. How incomprehensible those stories that He painted in our hearts!

Quiet, late night prayer around a bonfire is disturbed by a police helicopter.
