@michaeljknowles You missed the third and most likely option: there will be no urgent mass deport of Haitians/Syrians. Some will take the generous financial offer; some will lawfare to change status; the rest will be fine b/c DHS will only target those who commit additional crimes while here.

@seanmdav Not sure what is more infuriating: that Mullin is encouraging them to seek permanent status, or that Mullin is generously offering them each $2100 and a plane ticket to leave voluntarily. There is no plan to mass remove them. Most will remain here for the foreseeable future.
