Man it's so distracting when you are trying to screw in the attachment for a plasmagun onto your drone and there are bits of brain scattered on the floor.

Even an unarmed drone can still take detailed images of a sensitive technical system.
This happens so often.
I think every such site, every airport, including civilian ones, every port, maybe even data center and power plant will need its own dedicated counter-drone system.

🇵🇱 UPDATE: Poland’s Defence Ministry has clarified the drone incident near the US Aegis Ashore base at Redzikowo.

MON says the aircraft was a civilian drone and did not fly over the base itself. It nevertheless violated the designated drone no-fly zone, was continuously tracked by military air-defence systems, and the military identified the location from which its operator was controlling it. Police and other authorities were then notified.

The ministry says the drone never approached critical parts of the base and posed no threat.

Worth noting, however, that “civilian drone” does not necessarily mean harmless. Small commercially derived drones can be weaponised - as demonstrated daily by explosive FPV drones in Ukraine, and more recently by the explosive-laden drone found at Leipzig/Halle Airport.

There is no evidence the Redzikowo drone was weaponised. But an unauthorised drone inside the restricted zone around one of NATO’s most sensitive installations remains noteworthy.

The strongest motivator for lead-free primaries is to reduce toxicity. Perchlorates seem questionable under that lens, no?
I guess it's probably more powerful, as perchlos tend to be.
Maybe cheaper w/ lower Ni content & you need less hard to say.

@azide_enjoyer @Object_Zero_ Obv. also NQ derivatives like ANQN and some melt-cast alternatives to TNT are underutilised. TNT doesn't really offer satisfactory performance from my pov but it is pretty damn stable w/ scalable production etc.
