Thanks @ProfMartinJNA for always championing everyone and creating opportunities for growth for us all. I continue to learn a great deal from you many years after you retired from clinical service. Thank you 🙏🏽 your legacy is unrivalled
A truly well deserved award to @ProfMartinJNA! Thank you for the pioneering work you did to set up @NCCUQS and your investment over the years investing in the next generation of perioperative anaesthetists.
We are all excited and proud at @SNACCNeuro as our leader, guide, mentor, friend and role model Prof. Martin Smith @ProfMartinJNA receives the Distinguished Service award at #snacc2024. Congratulations Martin! 👏👏👏
Good paper. Fully support its conclusion not to stop ACEi before surgery. Far more important we do what we do best and maintain the BP regardless of antihypertensives.
Great article with one of our own @Val_luo as one of the authors of this @JNeurosurgAnes article on fellowship training in neuroanaesthesia and perioperative neuroscience. Our centre is an @ICPNT accredited centre where a lot of these exciting innovations are already happening.
Excited to welcome @WRMuirhead to @QSNeurosurgery. Special for me as he was my first clinical research fellow from our trainee days. Now a consultant with a 50/50 focus on lateral base surgery & neurotechnology. Exceptional surgeon, strong academic, and all-around great guy.
Some key points from my presentation today at the #stroke panel @SNACCNeuro annual meeting. Anesthetic Techniques for Stroke Thrombectomy - Controversy, Consensus and Beyond! Anesthesiologists have a huge role in advancing stroke care. #SNACC23
