So incredibly proud of the SATB Quartet for their performance, and Julia J. for her solo performance at @MSVMAssociation All-State festival at MSU today! This is the highest honor in the state for singers!

My most curmudgeonly music opinion is that you don't actually need to be listening to music at all times of the day.

It's okay to do your grocery shopping, driving, or other mundane tasks in relative silence sometimes.

Here's a song by Rosa Lee Timm. She is a Deaf musician, performing in her native language of ASL.

There is no sound, yet it is still music, for a variety of reasons, but most importantly because she says so.
