Israel secretly deployed elite military and intelligence units, including special commando forces, to several locations in southern Azerbaijan during its war with Iran. The sites were positioned near Iran’s northern border, enabling intelligence gathering, drone operations, and surveillance deep into northern Iran. The deployment involved several dozen personnel from Israel’s special operations forces, elite heliborne units, and Mossad.
• Preparations began in mid-January 2026 (during Iranian protests), with Israeli forces installing listening devices and intelligence equipment along the Azerbaijan-Iran border using stealth jets and special forces.
• The sites supported aerial rescue missions for downed pilots and early warning of Iranian missile launches.
• One reported operation launched from Azerbaijan: the March 4 killing of senior IRGC intelligence official Rahman Moghaddam (whom Israel linked to a 2024 Trump assassination plot). The next day, drones struck an airport in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan enclave (Azerbaijan blamed Iran; Iran denied). Azerbaijan later announced it had foiled an IRGC plot targeting infrastructure and Israeli/Jewish targets; Israel later confirmed it was a joint Mossad-IDF-Shin Bet operation.
• Azerbaijan’s embassy in the US strongly denied the claims of its territory being used for operations against third countries.

THE DONROE DOCTRINE IS IN FULL FORCE:
Trump is doing an amazing job pushing the Donroe/Monroe doctrine in the American Hemisphere. Yesterday, he met Flávio Bolsonaro, who is running for Brazil’s presidency in October 2026 against the incumbent socialist Lula.
Flávio’s father, Jair, was the former president of Brazil and who is now in jail for attempting to overturn his election loss to Lulu. Jair was and is a pro-America Brazilian. Jair endorsed his son’s candidacy from prison and they actually have a huge supporter base.
Because of Trump term 1 and 2, we have lots of Latin American countries who have turned away from socialism and have strengthened their ties with America. For example:
• Javier Milei of Argentine 🇦🇷 — economy booming
• Nayib Bukele of El Salvador 🇸🇻 — from most dangerous country to the safest in Latin America, plus economy revitalizing
• Abelardo de la Espriella of Colombia 🇨🇴 — likely next president; TBD on Jun. 21st election; endorsed by Trump yesterday
• Flávio Bolsonaro of Brazil 🇧🇷 — potential next president; lots of work to do; TBD on Oct. 4th election, or Oct. 25th runoff.
• José Raúl Mulino of Panama 🇵🇦 — generally pro-America, but very strong on Canal independence; Trump helped kicked the Chinese out and they’re now no longer owned by China.
• Delcy Rodríguez of Venezuela 🇻🇪 — Trump military removed Maduro and told Delcy to be an American puppet or be killed. She’s compliant for now, but her and Maduro’s regime remnants pose a substantial risk. We should support free elections in Venezuela and publicly endorse María Corina Machado. I think that’s our plan but we’re taking it slowly to prevent bloodshed.
• Daniel Noboa of Ecuador 🇪🇨 — Ecuador turned from left-wing country to center-right during Trump’s first term. They’ve been doing well economically because of pro-business policies. Also very pro-America.
• Laura Fernández of Costa Rica 🇨🇷 — experienced conservative populist movement in 2022 which continues to be strong.
All of the above countries are sick and tired of crime and are strongly cooperating with Trump on war on drugs and gangs.
NEXT FOUR TARGETS IN OUR HEMISPHERE IN THIS ORDER:
1. Cuba 🇨🇺 — we should continue the blockade, and at first try to collapse the communist regime without military involvement. If it doesn’t work, then we should 100% use military force to do a regime change in Cuba. There’s already momentum here, strong anti-regime and pro-America sentiment (especially because of Marco Rubio) so we should move on this first and move fast.
2. Mexico 🇲🇽 — their presidential election is on May 7, 2027. The people of Mexico have seen what other Latin American countries have accomplished and they’ve seen that a country without gangs is a real possibility. We need to start a conservative, anti-crime, pro-America movement in Mexico and finally have the people of Mexico rid their country of cartel control. We should not use military to change political power in Mexico. We should use other tools (sanctions, targeted killings of cartels, etc.) to get the people to start a popular movement. This is the most important country in terms of America’s geopolitical interests because of the border and because of the cartel threat and drugs.
3. Greenland 🇬🇱 — We should not use military force against Greenland or Denmark. US has long-term strategic interests in having uncontrolled access to all of Greenland (Arctic route). The denial of use of our bases by some of our allies has only strengthened Trump's claim that we must own Greenland, and not just have bases there. If owning Greenland is an absolute no-go for the people of Greenland, then at a minimum we need to secure the right to deny direct or indirect access to Greenland to Russia, China or any future adversary we name, plus at least one of these two options: (1) secure some sort of sovereignty of parts of Greenland; or (2) secure a 250 year lease over strategic parts of Greenland. Trump needs to make sure he gets us all of Greenland, or secures one of the alternatives mentioned above before he leaves office. I don't think any future president will have the backbone to do it.
4. Canada 🇨🇦 — Canadians need to suffer a little more under a liberal government before they realize they are ready for change. They’re too anti-Trump to change now. Unless there’s a no-confidence vote against the sleezebag Carney, there won’t be elections in Canada until 2029.
I read your entire Q&A and I disagree with a lot of it, but at least your arguments were logical and based on reality.
But this point is the one where I just have to chime in and say that you need to reconsider your response and either keep your position with better arguments or change your position with better understanding of the totality of the squeeze.
- You answer the question by assuming you and Chris have the same understanding of what the “expected outcome” of Trump and Bennett are. More importantly, although Bessent has expressed his goal (squeezing the regime economically), he hasn’t expressed a clear expected outcome (i.e., force them to capitulate, cause internal regime cracks and chaos, or cause all out regime collapse). As to Trump, he actually has expressed neither a goal nor an expected outcome for Economic Fury. He likely views it as one of many pressure points for a global goal and expected outcome (discussed more below). So what I am saying is that I don’t think you can answer this question without being able to specifically articulate the core part of the question. I believe neither of us can because the expected outcome is either intentionally not being shared by the administration or is being shared along with other potential expected outcomes so as to make the ascertainment of the actual expected outcomes impossible for you and I and the enemy.
- I don’t think it makes any sense to look at Economic Fury without looking at the blockade, unless you already presumed Economic Fury was some form of a component of the blockade or an independent policy that directly supports the blockade.
- Though it is true that Iran has aimed at and in many cases has succeeded at building certain sf-sufficient sectors, it is by no means anywhere close to being a self-sufficient economy. A self-sufficient economy wouldn’t have its currency totally collapse and its consumer pricing for basic goods and products totally out of control. Moreover, Iran did not have 47 years of sanctions and maximum pressure. At no point in this regime’s history, has the country ever experienced anything close to the true “maximum pressure” it is experiencing now. It’s one thing to have sanctions only, but a completely divergent matter to have been militarily destroyed for an entire month. The damage from the war alone could be up to $300B, and that’s not even counting the Economic Fury and the blockade pressure.
It’s now too late for me to continue chatting, or else I would have so much more to say on this point.
But anyway, except for this response of yours in which I think you underestimated the damage being done to Iran and overestimated Iranian regime’s resilience (please don’t take offense), I find your other comments on this Q&A very interesting (but again, don’t fully agree).
Would love to engage with you in private chats in the future and pick your brain a little more 😃.
@theMythic_Minx He’s been ready for it for so long, but I think 2028 is the perfect time for him. He knows the game in all levels of American government and foreign governments. The whole world already knows and respects him. Most importantly, he knows us, the Americans.
