@nutmegbygfk Well said. I prefer dot, but lupe is a close second. I can see someone preferring Lu in any aspect wholeheartedly. Doesn’t make much sense to twiddle it down to a narrow view of lyricism when all the concepts he named work together, and esp since a case can be made otherwise.

@bean5__ That is very fair. I must admit it’s hard for me to separate the two. I feel as if there is intersubjectivity even within the classic convo. Like as a 2nd gen black american, GRODT by 50 cent was gospel growing up 😭 but somebody outside of that culture may not feel that, ykwim?
