@zagrebbi Yes, the country that is an international hegemon exercises its power and makes you a shithole country. How novel of an observation (thank you for this valuable analysis).
@Lampppe@Nicolas_MVD Yea trust the "Honeypot" VPN did you ever think how they enforce the max five devices if "No Logs" exist on the servers you connect? Anyone with NetFlow data of your ISP and the data center mullvad is in can de-anon you trivially, more users means nothing

Introducing Nucleus-Image: the first sparse Mixture-of-Experts diffusion model
17B parameters. Only 2B active. 10x more parameter-efficient than leading diffusion models.
Toe-to-toe with GPT Image 1, Imagen 4, and Qwen-Image: from pure pre-training alone. No DPO. No RL. No preference tuning.
Day 0 support in 🤗 Hugging Face diffusers. Fully open-source under Apache 2.0.
Weights, training code, and dataset recipe - we're not holding anything back <3
@tszzl I don't think my opinions are reducible to contrarianism. I've been a consistent Anthropic doubter, I believe their research program (despite some tasteful choices re data&alignment) is less advanced and less ambitious than OpenAI's, and Claude is 4o for people 1-2 SDs smarter.
@jhigh2000@thdxr Watch any interview with dario or sam, the model pays for itself by inference cost (individually) but each frontier model is 10x the cost of the previous one
@jarredsumner@adamdotdev The product is not "Claude Code" its the model they are calling with 10x discounts (vs api) that enabled $1B run-rate. Ignore everyone else and push "Claude" standards will not work if you fall to number 2, and anthropic does not have any goodwill left (open source + regulation)
@jamonholmgren@umi33563 I'm referring to the definition of 'open source' and the licenses approved by the FSF, he and any org can use what makes business sense for them, but the hate for copy left licenses make no sense when he is actively benefiting from that ecosystem
The term is source available software not open source, DHH chooses not to use that label because of all the ‘wonderful’ companies that abandoned open source licenses in favor of source available versions
