I wrote my first line of code two years ago @freeCodeCamp and I am over 30.

No Bootcamp
No CS degree

6 @freeCodeCamp certificates,
10+ personal projects,
Open-source contribution

And after many interviews, I got the job and even started working!

If I could do it, you can too!

Hello everyone!

I am back finally 😎

It has been a crazy couple of weeks. I moved to Finland and today is my first day at work as a developer! 🥳🎉

@can @joshu Agreed.

@GergelyOrosz For me flow rather moved to review and testing. Especially when there are multiple sessions, you need time to check each of them.

@talhagin 😅

i would rather be an optimist and work hard than a pessimist posting about why things won't work.

it's much more difficult and the most likely path is failure, but society fails if people don't try.

no amount of "it will never work" essays will drive society forward.

@BoraOzkent Dario bazen konuşmasa daha iyi hatta, mantıklı olmuş.

Her şey, dual state (ikili devlet) ilkesine uygun işliyor.

Crazy that this is getting barely any coverage. This year’s European Press Prize was just awarded to an investigative report by the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. It is entitled “What the Wounds Tell” and in it the journalists Maud Effting and Willem Feenstra document the cases of 114 children in Gaza under the age of 15 who were struck by a single bullet to the head or chest. Almost all of them died or were left severely disabled. They chose to document only the cases of boys and girls under the age of 15 (though often much younger: aged 3, 4 or 7) because these are children who can be immediately identified as such. “A single bullet in these parts of the body is a clear indication that these children were deliberately targeted“, the two journalists write.

A common dynamic I observe with AI: it feels most impressive when you don’t know much about the subject, don’t care or don’t have a clear idea of what the you want.

This applies across design, code, legal, and more. If I don’t know code very well, every piece of code it writes feels very impressive.

Once you know what something should feel or look like, it becomes almost impossible to guide AI there. And you definitely can’t one-shot it.
