@BCBSAL your paid physician traitors denied an indicated test. I asked the Infectious disease specialist what is a normal PSA- and they could not answer. They hung up on me as I tried to appeal for my patient. @wsfa12news @WAKA8News

Let me get this straight… it’s illegal to practice medicine without a degree and license… unless you work for an insurance company? This gives you the right to practice without a degree or ever seeing a patient? Just making sure we all understand what happens.

@MarriottBonvoy you should be ashamed of the Trilogy Hotel and Kinsmith Restaurant. In fact- you should remove the Marriott brand from this place. The restaurant manager could not be any more rude. They “ran out of food” for our reservation- and he could not care less.

@uropolicydiva It’s not the supplies- with UROGPO- we get great rates on supplies. It’s insurance and the anti-competitive hospitals who no longer view physicians as partners… they want total control and ownership.

After being employed for 12 years- and now in private practice… it is clear the system is rigged for corporate medicine. Insurance companies use their resources to prevent care and deny payment. Hospitals and their lobbyists could not be happier! Regret will be felt by all!

the lives of Alabama citizens are at risk. It’s not ok to put hospitals and doctors out of business - while you collect record profits! Protect the citizens like you protect your executive compensation. Your monopoly has been protected because of your lobbyist.

@athenahealth I remember when Athena focused on partnering with physicians to improve practice management , documentation, and patient experience. Unfortunately- private equity does not share those same goals- and that is evident by your sales managers.

@ABUrology - a suggestion. You recently raised the annual fees. I’m sure there was a reason. However- instead of a digital copy of board recertification- how about printed versions? It would give at least one reason why we pay for certification. Don’t be the next ABIM.

As hospitals in Alabama all struggle to keep their doors open, @BCBSAlabama continues to add to their profits. Payments are now delayed to around 60 days. Their admin helped pass a law in 2015 blocking their salaries from being published. Profit over patients is their motto.

Hospitals should recruit. hospitals reap reward of having young, motivated, eager doctors joining them and providing discounted care in exchange for training. The system is bassakward.
