✨️ Sorry for the long essay lol, this will be the last time we explain this. ✨️
We kindly ask everyone to support the use of 1 Keyword + 1 EP Hashtag throughout the 24-hour trending period of all the Ticket To Heaven episodes.
1) Keywords help prevent shadowbans and repetitive red flags. 🛡
Under the current X algorithm, tweets containing only hashtags or very little text are more likely to be flagged as spam or repetitive bot activity. During trend periods, everyone posts heavily, which naturally increases the risk of shadowbans and restrictions.
Keywords provide meaningful text, make tweets look more natural, and help reduce that risk.
Additionally, X now highly rewards 'dwell time' (how long someone stops to look at a post). Keywords encourage people to write real sentences instead of empty spam. When fans stop to read a meaningful tweet, X recognizes it as high-quality content and pushes it onto more timelines.
2) Keywords help protect our fanbases and major accounts. 🏠
The accounts leading trends are usually the largest fanbases and most active accounts in the fandom. When these accounts are heavily shadowbanned or get suspended, the entire fandom loses engagement, visibility, and coordination.
For example, during their major series run, several major PerthSanta trending and fanbase accounts were suspended while the fandom primarily relied on hashtag-only trending. They were unable to return for weeks, making it much harder to maintain engagement and momentum during later episodes.
We do not want the same thing to happen to our fandom, especially when many accounts including us are already experiencing shadowbans since LOL FanFest.
3) Not everyone can buy X Premium. 💳
Many fans are trending from personal accounts and cannot purchase X Premium. Even Premium accounts are still experiencing shadowbans and visibility issues.
As trend numbers continue growing each week, the safest approach is to reduce risk wherever possible rather than relying on one hashtag alone.
4) Keywords improve visibility and trend discovery. 🔎
Keywords act as conversation labels and help push discussions into trending topics more easily. Current X trends rely heavily on conversations and engagement rather than hashtags alone.
‼️ Important: Keywords and hashtags do not fight each other. X no longer just counts raw hashtag volume; its algorithm groups related terms into context clusters. Using a keyword alongside the hashtag doesn't split our power—it actually lifts the hashtag's context and helps them dominate different parts of the algorithm together.
Interesting keywords can also attract casual viewers who may not already follow the series.
Examples:
🔑 BARTHTANRAK BESTIES ERA
🔑 BARTHTANRAK FALL IN LOVE
🔑 BARTHTANRAK FIRST KISS
🔑 SONGKRAN WITH BARTHTANRAK
— Think of keywords as an additional promotional tool that helps introduce Ticket To Heaven to new audiences.
5) ‼️ Keywords help trends last longer. ⏳️
Hashtags often disappear from trending pages shortly after the trend period ends.
A major example is #.TicketToHeavenEP1, which fell out of the trends of all countries in the following Monday morning. Meanwhile, our EP1 keyword continued trending much longer beyond 18 hours.
We have observed the same pattern during LOL FanFest and previous major GeminiFourth events, where our keywords remained visible for 24–48 hours or even longer when the entire fandom used them together.
6) The X algorithm has changed significantly. ⚙️
What worked for another fandom or series months ago may not work today. The platform changes constantly, and recent updates have made it increasingly difficult to push hashtags alone.
Many fandoms, both larger and smaller than ours, have successfully adopted the 1 Keyword + 1 Hashtag strategy for recent projects. Examples include fandoms and series such as Duang With You, 4 Elements: The Air, When Oranges Fall, Enemies With Benefits and others in the last few weeks.
In countries where our fandom has fewer active participants, hashtags often require very high volume and posting velocity to enter and remain in the trends. Keywords generally enter trends more easily, and together with hashtags help create stronger overall visibility across multiple countries while our global fandom continues to grow.
Our goal is to use the safest and most effective strategy based on current conditions, not outdated ones.
7) Our fandom naturally uses many hashtags. #️⃣
Many fans have the habit of using 3–5 hashtags in a single tweet. Repeatedly posting multiple hashtags throughout a 24-hour period increases the risk of flags, shadowbans and account restrictions.
Using only 1 Keyword + 1 Hashtag is the best solution that keeps the trends stable while reducing unnecessary risk.
8) Our goal is worldwide visibility, not only tweet volume. 🌎
Our trend success is not measured solely by reaching a tweet volume of 1M or 2M posts. We also look at worldwide visibility, country participation, and trend longevity.
The real goal is increasing visibility across as many countries as possible, helping more people discover Ticket To Heaven and GeminiFourth, and maintaining momentum beyond the initial trending period.
Trending in more countries is far more valuable than achieving a large tweet count that disappears immediately afterward.
Keywords are one of the ways we can expand our global reach while continuing to grow our fandom across more countries.
9) Ticket To Heaven is a short series. 📅
Many fandoms become stronger at trending through the experience of weekly series trends over 10-12 weeks. This happens across almost every major GMMTV fandom.
Ticket To Heaven only has 6 episodes, meaning we have less time than most fandoms to build momentum, improve our global trending power, and strengthen participation across countries.
That makes these remaining weeks especially important.
10) Keywords and hashtags work together, not against each other. 🤝🏼
We consistently observe that hashtags and keywords often enter the same countries together. In some countries the hashtag trends more quickly, while in others the keyword trends more prominently. Sometimes they even alternate positions throughout the day.
This shows that keywords and hashtags function as a combined visibility strategy rather than competing with each other.
Additionally, casual viewers, locals, and fans from other fandoms naturally use only the EP hashtag more often than the keyword anyway. Therefore, adding a keyword does not reduce hashtag visibility—it simply allows both elements to work together toward stronger overall trend performance.
11) ‼️ We have already seen successful results. 📈
During the Ticket To Heaven trailer release and Episode 1, we achieved No. 1 rankings in multiple countries, and these are amazing results we had never experienced before as a fandom.
This demonstrates that the current approach of using a keyword is already producing positive results.
We also want to clarify that we track trends using multiple sources, including Twitter, Talkwalker, and other tracking tools. Talkwalker focuses on hashtag visibility rather than keywords, so using a keyword does not negatively affect the hashtag data that fandoms normally monitor and report.
More importantly, one of our long-term goals is to improve our fandom's ability to trend organically across multiple countries. Many of today's strongest fandoms became "trending monsters" because they consistently built global hashtag visibility and engagement over time. Ticket To Heaven is an important opportunity for us to continue developing those skills and strengthen GeminiFourth's worldwide presence as a fandom.
12) Last but not least, Ticket To Heaven relies heavily on online visibility. 🚀
Unlike some series that are available worldwide on a single platform, Ticket To Heaven is distributed across different services depending on the region, including Viki, Viu, YouTube, GagaOOLala, and other local platforms.
This makes X/Twitter an important discovery platform for international audiences. Every week, new viewers discover the series through trends, discussions, edits, clips, and recommendations.
Keywords help create more opportunities for Ticket To Heaven to reach potential new viewers and expand its visibility beyond the existing fandom.
———
As a trend team, we are always trying to find the safest and most effective ways to support Ticket To Heaven, protect fandom accounts, and maximize worldwide visibility for the series.
While we always observe and learn from other fandoms, we also need to adapt to the current platform, our own fandom's strengths, and the unique circumstances of Ticket To Heaven.
We understand that some fans prefer organic engagement and do not focus heavily on trending goals, and we completely respect that perspective.
At the same time, many fans around the world enjoy participating in trends as their way of supporting Ticket To Heaven and GeminiFourth. Our goal is simply to make trending safer, stronger, and more enjoyable for everyone while giving the series the greatest possible visibility.
TL;DR — Keywords help to:
✅ Reduce shadowbans and account restrictions
✅ Protect fanbases and major accounts
✅ Improve worldwide visibility
✅ Extend trend longevity
✅ Increase country participation
✅ Help new audiences discover Ticket To Heaven
✅ Support safer and more effective trending
We kindly request everyone to support the Keyword + EP Hashtag strategy for the remaining 5 weeks of Ticket To Heaven. Thank you very much for helping us promote Ticket To Heaven and GeminiFourth on X trends every week. 🤲🏼✨️
