Based on a targeted literature review we identified research gaps & suggest ways forward with an interdisciplinary approach that could enhance cross-scale ecological understanding. Thanks Candice for leading this discussion paper, important effort & huge work. Free access link 👇
Big Congrats Candice for your published PhD thesis chapter! See our suggestions on how to improve ecological insight from dendroecological studies of #Arctic shrub dynamics. #CBDE Community-based dendroecological sampling. Download https://t.co/uvORMyn43u
Center for Landscape Research in Sustainable Agricultural Futures #LandCRAFT officially started yesterday. UAS4Ecology Lab is happy to contribute with co-PI @SigneNormand leading the Digital Landscape Analyses and Remote Sensing of the center.
New center opens: it requires basic and detailed knowledge if we are to achieve the green transformation of agriculture.

The Arctic is quickly transitioning to a rain-dominated climate. In August, for example, it rained at the summit of Greenland’s ice sheet for the first time. These changes will have huge implications on land, for wildlife and for human livelihoods. https://t.co/5XRhXciGiz
We had a wonderful kick-off event to discuss scientific goals, key-tasks & visions. Thanks everyone for very inspiring three days! Sneak peek: Nature-based solutions – from concepts to tools? Transformative change! Which future do we want – not where ongoing pressures take us.
