Albert Camus knew the universe is absurd and indifferent. High-agency people look at that void and say 'cool, so there's no referee?' and just start building. The absurd isn't depressing to them, it's liberating. No rules means infinite moves.
Nothing stops you from realizing your objective save your failure to feel that you are already that which you wish to be, or that you are already in possession of the thing sought.”
"The more we understand individual things, the more we understand God. He who is highly aware of his own actions and emotions ceases to be passive and instead becomes an active participant in his own life." — Baruch Spinoza
anger actually might be one of the most self destructive emotions we normalize every day. most people think anger hurts the person they’re angry at. but most of the damage happens inside themselves. the person who made you angry might forget about it in minutes while your body continues paying the price for hours.
anger is one of the strangest emotions. your heart beats faster. your thoughts become clouded. your peace disappears. your body enters a state of stress long after the moment has passed. anger feels powerful in the moment. it convinces you that reacting will make things better. that saying one more thing, proving one more point, holding onto the frustration a little longer will somehow change what happened. but it rarely does. the truth is, anger is often a debt you pay for a problem that already happened.
and most of you think that anger ends when you stop shouting or when the argument is over. but your body doesn’t work that way. your brain may move on, but your nervous system is still fighting a battle that already ended.
a moment of patience in a moment of anger saves a thousand moments of regret. so next time you get angry, pause and take a deep breath. then take another. a few seconds of awareness can save you from hours of biological stress. slow your breathing, count backwards if you need to, and let your nervous system calm down before you react. because not every battle deserves your energy. and sometimes protecting your peace is the most powerful response you can give.
Ce propos de @PCHAMOISEAU a, en ce moment, une résonance particulière en moi.

The desired reality doesn't become more accessible over time. It becomes more accessible as the internal classification of it shifts from wanted to accepted. Time is irrelevant to that shift. It's a classification change, not a journey.
i regret to inform you that personal growth rarely comes from acquiring new knowledge and almost always from:
- getting humiliated
- showing up terrified and doing it anyway
- admitting you might be the problem
Misogynoir, fetichisation des corps des femmes noires , imaginaire colonial, réduction de Joséphine Baker à une vision caricaturale … pour @KonbiniFr je reviens sur le dessin raciste de Charlie Hebdo me représentant ⤵️
Riccardo Calafiori primarily plays as a left-back or centre-back for Arsenal, with versatility across defensive roles. He often roams forward, carrying the ball and progressing play, which aligns with a modern roaming libero style—combining defensive interceptions, physicality, and attacking contributions like assists and goals.
You begin to slow down when you realize that it is your presence, sensitivity, acceptance, intuitiveness and immersion that opens you to the richness of an experience — It is when you ease more into the quality of an experience instead of rushing for a quantity of experiences.
