Angelenos should continue to wear face coverings in public, avoid coming into close contact with other individuals, and practice social distancing of at least 6 feet. Everyone should continue to limit travel and non-essential activities, and stay home as much as possible.

To our front line workers who test positive for #COVID19: we have your back.
CA is now streamlining the process and making it easier for you to qualify for workers' compensation benefits -- retroactive from March 19th and through the next 60 days.
Lake Forest remains at 32 COVID-19 cases, while Orange County leaps past 3,000 to 3,004 with 131 cases reported Wednesday, according to ochealth. An additional four deaths reported as well, bringing the OC total to 65.
NEW: CA has 58,815 confirmed cases of #COVID19:
+ 4.6% from yesterday.
3,334 of those are in hospitals:
-1.0%.
1,140 of those are in the ICU:
-1.5%.
CA: we are flattening the curve -- but we must continue to take this seriously.
Your actions can save lives.

Small businesses are also eligible for support. LA Represents and @BetTzedek legal services will help businesses navigate new workplace rules, apply for government loans, and get guidance on compliance with our emergency health and safety orders.
Law firms, bar associations and attorneys will be donating their services free of charge to legal aid groups to help vulnerable tenants, domestic violence victims, low-income families and workers with legal challenges. Thank you to all our partners.
Together with @CityAttorneyLA, I'm proud to announce a new initiative, LA Represents, a pro bono program that will provide legal services to Angelenos facing hardships due to COVID-19.
We are here to help: https://t.co/dd3Bjm1xLZ
These numbers would be much higher if we hadn’t taken the actions that we did, if you hadn’t taken the actions that you’re taking each day, staying home, social distancing, washing your hands, wearing your mask, and using your head to make sure that we’re all frontline responders
No new #COVID19 cases in Irvine today; confirmed cases stand at 137. Thanks for doing your part to slow the spread. Please continue to practice social distancing & wear face coverings.

CA is led by data and SCIENCE.
Based off our progress, we’ll begin to gradually move into Stage 2 this FRIDAY.
Some sectors where there’s a lower risk of transmission will be able to adapt & re-open with modifications.
This will include some retail and manufacturing/logistics.
Beaches and trails remain closed this weekend. Please don’t spend your time outside. It's not worth it. We all want our city to reopen as soon as possible, but making the steady progress we are making is what will lead to recovery. For now, please keep it up.
