میں گزشتہ دو سال میں ہونے والے قتلِ عام کے چار بڑے واقعات جن میں 9 مئی، 26 نومبر، آزاد کشمیر اور مریدکے قتلِ عام شامل ہیں، پر جوڈیشل کمیشن کے قیام کا مطالبہ دہراتا ہوں۔ ان تمام واقعات میں بڑی تعداد میں نہتے شہریوں کو شہید کیا گیا۔

9 مئی فالس فلیگ کے حوالے سے میرا شروع سے یہی موقف ہے کہ واقعے کی سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج پیش کی جائے اور آزادانہ و شفاف تحقیقات کے لیے جوڈیشل کمیشن قائم کیا جائے۔ جس پر افسوس ہے کہ کوئی عملدرآمد نہیں ہوا بلکہ الٹا متاثرہ فریق کیخلاف ہی جھوٹے مقدمات بنا کر بغیر شفاف تحقیقات اور ثبوت کے ملٹری کورٹس اور کینگرو کورٹس سے 10، 10 سال قید کی سزائیں سنائی گئیں۔ حالانکہ اس دن نہتے شہریوں اور سپورٹرز کو گولیوں کا نشانہ بنایا گیا-

قتلِ عام کی یہی واردات 26 نومبر کو دہرائی گئی جب نہتے پرامن مظاہرین پر سیدھی گولیاں برسائی گئیں۔ اگر 9 مئی کے حقائق سامنے آجاتے تو 26 نومبر اور اس جیسے واقعات نا ہوتے۔ پھر آزاد کشمیر اور اب مریدکے میں مظاہرین کو ریاستی بربریت کا نشانہ بنایا گیا۔ ان واقعات کی آزادانہ تحقیقات کیلئے جوڈیشل کمیشن کا قیام ناگزیر ہے تاکہ مظلوموں کو انصاف مل سکے اور قتلِ عام کے ذمہ داران کو قرار واقعی سزا دی جائے۔

اگر اب کی بار نہتے شہریوں کے قتلِ عام پر جوڈیشل کمیشن بنا کر شفاف تحقیقات نہ کی گئیں تو خدانخواستہ اگلا واقعہ اس سے بھی بڑا ہوگا کیونکہ ظلم و بربریت میں مسلسل اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔

نماز جمعہ کے بعد خیبرپختونخوا میں ہمارے تمام کارکنان اور عوام مریدکے قتلِ عام کیخلاف نکلیں اور چاروں واقعات کے جوڈیشل کمیشن کے قیام کا مطالبہ کریں۔

آج ملک میں سب کچھ عاصم لاء کے تحت ہو رہا ہے- ساری عدالتیں فوجی عدالتوں میں بدل چکی ہیں، جیسے فوجی عدالتوں کو چلایا جاتا ہے ویسے ہی عام عدالتوں کو بھی چلایا جا رہا ہے۔

26ویں غیر آئینی ترمیم کے بعد عدالتوں سے انصاف کی توقع تقریباً ختم ہو چکی ہے۔ ملک میں بڑھتی لاقانونیت اور ناانصافی اسی ترمیم کا نتیجہ ہے- جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ، جسٹس امین الدین، جج عامر فاروق، اور جج ڈوگر سب کے پاس ہمارے کیسز اور پٹیشن گئیں مگر کہیں سے انصاف نہیں ملا۔

عاصم منیر، قاضی فائز عیسٰی اور سکندر سلطان راجہ نے ہمارا مینڈیٹ چوری کر کے فارم 47 کی نااہل اور ناجائز حکومت پاکستان پر مسلط کی جن کے پاس پاکستان کو درپیش مسائل سے نکالنے کا نہ ہی کوئی وژن ہے، نہ اہلیت ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی اختیار۔ ان کی دہشتگردی کے مسئلے، امن کے قیام اور دیگر ممالک کے ساتھ تعلقات کے حوالے سے بھی اپنی کوئی سوچ اور پالیسی نہیں ہے-

تاریخ سے ثابت ہے کہ ملٹری ڈکٹیٹرز کا صرف بندوق کے زور پر ہر چیز کا حل نکالنے کا فارمولہ کبھی دیرپا اور کامیاب ثابت نہیں ہوا۔ افغانستان کے ساتھ مسئلے کا حل فوجی نہیں سیاسی ہے۔ لہذا یہ سیاستدانوں کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ معاملہ فہمی سے ملک میں دیرپا امن کا قیام یقینی بنائیں۔ فارم 47 کی جعلی حکومت کا نہ ہی استحقاق ہے اور نہ اہلیت کہ وہ قیامِ امن میں مؤثر کردار ادا کرسکے۔ ہمارے دور میں دہشتگردی کم ترین سطح پر آ گئی تھی۔ مجھے پیرول پر رہا کیا جائے تو میں افغانستان سے تنازعات کے حل اور قیامِ امن کیلئے اپنا کردار ادا کرسکتا ہوں”

Strongly condemn Israel's continuing war crimes being committed in Palestine & now in Lebanon. The supply of weapons from Western states, enabling Israel's commission of the genocide of innocent Palestinians & war crimes against Lebanon is equally condemnable. It is our collective failure that has allowed Israel to blatantly broaden this conflict through the region.

The international order based on international laws is unravelling into anarchy so injustice against the oppressed is on the rise. We are seeing it in the state terrorism of Israel & the farce of elections in IIOJK by Occupied state India, which can never replace the Kashmiris right to self-determination. Human rights are being violated at the international level by the powerful, while democracy at national levels in many parts of the world, including in Pakistan, is being systematically undermined, mirroring the breakdown of law & justice at the global & regional levels. I call on the World community, in particular the Ummah, to move beyond mere rhetoric to stop Israeli state terrorism that is expanding its grip & threatening the entire Muslim World.

نو مئی کے واقعات میں اپنے بچوں کو سزائیں دینے کے بجائے توجہ ہندوستان سمیت دیگر اندرونی و بیرونی مسائل پر مرکوز ہونی چاہیے۔ یہ وقت نوجوانوں کو متحد کرنے کا ہے۔

جن نوجوانوں کو ملٹری کورٹس سے دس ، دس سال کی سزائیں دلوائی گئی ہیں ان کا جرم صرف احتجاج کرنا ہے۔ بارہا کہتا ہوں کہ نو مئی کی سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج نکلوائی جائے تا کہ معلوم ہو سکے کہ اصل مجرمان کون ہیں اور سزائیں کن کو ملنی چاہئیں ۔ یوں کسی آرمی افسر کے کہنے پر قوم کے نوجوانوں کے مستقبل کو برباد کرنا ظلم ہے۔

چھبیسویں آئینی ترمیم کا دوسرا نتیجہ یہ ہے کہ ججز اب صرف ایک سرکاری ملازم کی حیثیت رکھتے ہیں اور کوئی آزادانہ فیصلہ نہیں لے سکتے۔ ججز کو ایک فرد واحد سب فیصلے لکھ کر دیتا ہے جو کہ نظام انصاف کی موت ہے۔ میرے خلاف جھوٹے اور بوگس مقدمات اسی لیے چل رہے ہیں کیونکہ عدلیہ آزاد نہیں ہے۔

القادر ٹرسٹ کیس سمیت میرے خلاف بنائے گئے تمام کیسز بوگس ہیں اس لیے مرضی کے ججز لانے کے باوجود میری اپیلیں مسلسل التوا میں رکھی جا رہی ہیں- جس دن میرے مقدمات میرٹ پر سنے گئے سب کا خاتمہ ہو جائے گا۔

میرا تمام پارٹی عہدیداران کے لیے واضح پیغام ہے کہ وہ تحریک چلانے پر اپنی توجہ مرکوز رکھیں۔ میری پہلی ترجیح تحریک اور پارٹی کی تنظیمِ نو ہے۔

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on the successful and dignified completion of the transition process within the provincial government. The way our members stood firmly by the party’s ideology and voted, without hesitation or reservation, for my nominee for Chief Minister is truly commendable. I also pay tribute to Ali Amin Gandapur, who, without any reluctance, tendered his resignation, not just once but three times. This smooth transition is clear evidence that the ideology of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continues to be strong in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

My message specifically for Sohail Afridi is that he is my opening batsman, and he should play expensively and with full confidence.

PTI is the largest political party in the country. To label those associated with it as ‘traitors’ merely because they disagree with a particular policy is extremely dangerous. Those who distribute certificates of treason and label others as ‘anti-state’ for political convenience must be stopped.
As a politician, it is my democratic right to critique any policy that goes against the public interest, national integrity, or democratic principles. I have always opposed, and will continue to oppose, any such policy that harms Pakistan’s interests. The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have given us their mandate, and we are accountable not to the DG ISPR but to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Therefore, we shall never act against the interests of Pakistan or its people.

I have no enmity with the Pakistan Army. The Army is mine just as the country and its people are mine. Many members of my own family have served in the armed forces. During the 1965 war, people from seven out of eight houses in our Zaman Park community were serving in the Army, defending the nation. It pains me deeply when soldiers lose their lives in the war against terrorism. Yet instability persists, and lives continue to be lost on both sides.
History bears witness that military operations alone cannot eradicate terrorism. Our principled stance is that military operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are unacceptable, as lives of innocent civilians are lost under the label of ‘collateral damage’ and people are displaced from their homes. Large-scale operations have been carried out for decades in an attempt to eliminate terrorism, but the menace persists. Precious lives are lost every year, whether the martyrs are soldiers, police officers, or innocent civilians.

I have always maintained that to achieve the complete elimination of terrorism, decisions cannot be made behind closed doors. What is needed is a comprehensive strategy based on political wisdom and inclusivity. Any policy formulated without the consultation and participation of political representatives and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is unacceptable. All key stakeholders, including local tribal leaders, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and federal governments, and the Afghan government must be consulted in determining counterterrorism policies. Without meaningful dialogue with Afghanistan, the issue of terrorism cannot be resolved.

I once again instruct the new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to engage all parties involved and formulate an effective and comprehensive strategy against terrorism. One that ensures sustainable peace in the province and ultimately leads to economic recovery.

In every democratic society, citizens have the fundamental right to peaceful protest. To use violence against unarmed people and open fire on them is completely unacceptable. The brutality inflicted upon Tehreek-e-Labbaik workers is the same injustice that PTI has been enduring for the past three years. A similar massacre occurred on November 26th (2024) at D-Chowk when our unarmed supporters were fired upon by snipers. I strongly condemn the inhumane violence and the shooting of unarmed citizens in the Muridke tragedy.”

“The circumstances in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa necessitated a change in the Chief Minister, a step fully in line with the constitutional process followed in other provinces as well. This process must be allowed to proceed without interference, ensuring its timely completion. Any attempt to interfere in this process will be met with a vigorous public protest.

Sohail Afridi was chosen because of his long-standing affiliation, dating back to his student days with ISF, and the ideology of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. This decision also reinforces the narrative of involving grassroots workers in decision-making instead of relying solely on electables.

Attempts by certain quarters to link the change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister to my family are completely unfounded. The decision is purely political and no member of my family in any way influenced it. No family member has any connection to my political decisions.

Ali Amin is among my old and loyal associates, but he is embroiled in disputes. These disputes from Asim Munir’s policy of confronting terrorism through empty displays of force rather than a comprehensive political strategy. The year 2025 marks the worst period in Pakistan’s history in terms of terrorist incidents, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can no longer withstand the crisis. I hope the new Chief Minister and his team will work with public representatives to adopt a comprehensive policy aimed at eliminating terrorism and establishing lasting peace.

For the past two decades I have consistently outlined a clear strategy to combat terrorism. Because of that strategy, terrorism was largely brought under control during Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s three-and-a-half-year government. At that time, PTI even negotiated with the then anti-Pakistan and India-aligned Ashraf Ghani government, and issues involving tribal communities and Afghan refugees were resolved through understanding.

If these accusations hold any truth, the nation deserves to know precisely which terrorists were resettled, and the details of when, where, and how.

At times, it is alleged that the Afghan government is responsible for terrorism in Pakistan because militants based in Afghanistan carry out operations here; at other times it is claimed that decades-long settlement of Afghan migrants in Pakistan is responsible. Both claims are unfounded, for even after the disgraceful expulsion of millions of Afghan refugees, terrorism has only intensified. Such contradictions leave no doubt about the ill intentions behind the Asim Munir-imposed system and its hostility toward the people.

My position on confronting terrorism has always been unequivocal. History has proven time and again that when force replaces political foresight and strategy, failure is the only outcome. Collateral damage resulting from military operations often forces the public, in revenge, to take up arms, perpetuating a cycle that grows progressively worse.

Politically motivated reprisals have produced a stream of baseless cases against me, repeatedly refiled. Cases large and small, including Tosha Khana, Al-Qadir, cipher, iddat, and again Tosha Khana, have been brought against me and my wife, Bushra Bibi, solely to coerce me into abandoning my commitment to true freedom. I want to send my nation this message once more: no matter what they do, I will not bow before them, nor will I allow my nation to bow.”

“خیبرپختونخوا کے حالات کے تناظر میں وزیراعلیٰ کی تبدیلی ناگزیر تھی اور یہ ایک آئینی عمل ہے جو اس ملک کے دیگر صوبوں میں بھی ہوتا آیا ہے اور اس میں کسی کو مداخلت نہیں کرنی چاہیئے تاکہ یہ عمل جلد از جلد مکمل ہو۔ اگر کسی نے اس میں مداخلت کی کوشش کی تو بھرپور احتجاج ہو گا۔

سہیل آفریدی کا انتخاب زمانہ طالب علمی سے ان کے آئی ایس ایف اور تحریک انصاف کے نظرئیے سے وابستگی کی وجہ سے کیا۔ یہ فیصلہ تحریک انصاف کی الیکٹیبلز کی جگہ گراس روٹ ورکرز کو فیصلہ سازی کے عمل میں شامل کرنے کے بیانیے کو بھی تقویت بخشتا ہے۔

خیبرپختونخوا کے وزیراعلیٰ کی تبدیلی کو بعض حلقے میرے خاندان کے افراد سے جوڑنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں، جو کہ سراسر غلط ہے۔ یہ فیصلہ مکمل طور پر سیاسی ہے، جس پر میرے خاندان کا کوئی فرد کسی بھی طرح سے اثر انداز نہیں ہوا۔ میرے خاندان کے کسی فرد کا میرے سیاسی فیصلوں سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے۔

علی امین میرے پرانے اور وفادار ساتھیوں میں سے ہیں لیکن وہ تنازعات کی زد میں ہیں۔ یہ تنازعات عاصم منیر کی کسی جامع سیاسی حکمت عملی اپنائے بغیر خالی گولہ بارود سے دہشتگردی کے مسئلے سے نمٹنے کی پالیسی کے باعث پیدا ہوا- 2025 دہشتگری کے واقعات کے حوالے سے پاکستانی تاریخ کا بدترین سال ہے اور خیبرپختونخوا کا صوبہ مزید اس صورتحال کا متحمل نہیں ہو سکتا۔ امید کرتا ہوں کہ نیا وزیراعلیٰ اور اس کی ٹیم دہشتگردی کے خاتمے اور دیرپا امن کے قیام کے حوالے سے عوامی نمائندوں کے ساتھ مل کر جامع پالیسی اپنائیں گے۔

میں گزشتہ دو دہائیوں سے دہشتگردی سے نمٹنے کی واضح حکمت عملی بیان کرتا رہا ہوں۔ اسی حکمت عملی کے باعث تحریک انصاف کے ساڑھے تین سالہ دور حکومت میں دہشتگری پر بہت حد تک قابو پا لیا گیا تھا۔تحریک انصاف نے اس وقت کی پاکستان مخالف اور بھارت نواز اشرف غنی حکومت سے بھی مذاکرات کئے اور قبائلی عوام اور افغان پناہ گزینوں کے معاملات بھی افہام وتفہیم سے طے کئے۔

2021 میں اس وقت کی فوجی قیادت نے ہتھیار پھینکنے والے دہشتگردوں کو واپس بسانے کا منصوبہ پیش کیا تھا، مگر اس منصوبے کو خیبرپختونخوا اور قبائلی علاقوں کے ہمارے منتخب نمائندوں نے مسترد کر دیا تھا- اس منصوبے پر ہمارے دور میں عمل نہیں ہوا۔ لیکن اب حقائق کے برعکس تحریک انصاف کی حکومت پر یہ سراسر جھوٹا الزام لگایا جا رہا ہے کہ ملک میں دہشتگردی اس دور میں بسائے گئے دہشتگردوں کی وجہ سے پیدا ہوئی ہے۔ قوم کو بتایا جائے کہ کون سے دہشتگرد کب، کہاں اور کیسے بسائے گئے؟

کبھی یہ کہا جاتا ہے پاکستان میں دہشتگردی کی ذمہ دار افغان حکومت ہے جس کی تائید سے افغانستان میں بسنے والے دہشتگرد پاکستان میں کاروائیاں کرتے ہیں اور کبھی کہا جاتا ہے کہ دہشتگردی دہائیوں سے پاکستان میں بسنے والے افغان مہاجرین کی وجہ سے ہے۔ یہ دونوں باتیں ہی غلط ہیں کیونکہ لاکھوں افغان مہاجرین کو بے عزت اور رسوا کر کے نکالنے کے باوجود دہشتگردی بڑھتی جا رہی ہے۔ یہ متضاد بیانات عاصم منیر کے مسلط کردہ عوام دشمن نظام کی بد حواسی کو ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔

دہشتگردی سے نمٹنے کے حوالے سے میرا موقف ہمیشہ سے دوٹوک رہا ہے۔ تاریخ بھی گواہ ہے دہشتگردی کے خلاف اگر باقاعدہ سیاسی بصیرت اور حکمت عملی کے بجائے صرف طاقت کا استعمال کیا جائے تو ناکامی ہی مقدر بنتی ہے۔ ملٹری آپریشن کے نتیجے میں ہونے والا “کولیٹرل ڈیمج “ عوام کو انتقاماً ہتھیار اٹھانے پر مجبور کر دیتا ہے اور یوں یہ سلسلہ بد سے بدتر ہوتا چلا جاتا ہے۔

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of precious lives in today’s terrorist incident in the Orakzai region. Whether they are civilians, police officers, or army personnel, it is our own people, who are being martyred in these military operations. Among those martyred today were a Colonel and a Major, which is extremely tragic. Offering prayers for the elevation of all the martyrs’ ranks in Jannah and for the swift recovery of those injured.

The flawed policies and mistaken priorities of the mafia presently imposed on the nation have led Pakistan, especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, into an alarming and unprecedented wave of terrorism. Even though two months still remain, this year Pakistan has witnessed a record number of terrorist incidents, resulting in an enormous loss of life on a scale difficult to find precedent for. I have repeatedly stated that the complete eradication of terrorism in Pakistan, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is impossible without dialogue among four key stakeholders: the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the people of the tribal areas, the Afghan government, and the Afghan people. The current regime’s policy of conflict and confrontation is only worsening the situation.

I have repeatedly directed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to oppose unnecessary military operations initiated against our own citizens. Peace had been restored across these regions during our tenure. It is deeply regrettable that the current Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has failed to implement my vision for peace and has been unable to distance itself from the war-driven policies of the federal government and security agencies, as it should have. In these circumstances, there is no option left but to bring a change in the provincial government. I therefore announce the appointment of Sohail Afridi as the new Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The policy of fighting terrorism through drone strikes, jet bombings, and mortar shelling is a profoundly foolish strategy that has kept the nation trapped in a vicious cycle of terrorism. After today’s terrorist attack and the resulting martyrdoms, our security forces will inevitably retaliate, which will provoke a counter-response, and the cycle will continue endlessly.

During our three-and-a-half-year tenure, terrorism was at its lowest level in Pakistan’s history, even though Afghanistan was then under the pro-India and anti-Pakistan Ashraf Ghani regime. I personally visited Afghanistan and invited Ashraf Ghani to Pakistan in an effort to improve bilateral relations. Due to our practical measures and effective diplomacy, the country was spared the kind of instability we are witnessing today.

In contrast, the current rulers, who have unlawfully seized power, have completely failed to engage with the new government in Afghanistan (to secure Pakistan’s interests). Instead, after forty years of hospitality, Afghan refugees have been humiliated and forcibly expelled in a deeply painful manner. Bilawal Bhutto held the position of Foreign Minister for over a year and traveled across the world; yet at this most critical juncture in history, he did not visit Kabul even once, nor did he take any step to improve relations with the Afghan government.

For lasting peace, it is essential that this issue be viewed in a broader perspective, and that all stakeholders come together to resolve matters through dialogue and mutual understanding. I am confident that the change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s leadership will mark a new beginning. Support from public representatives, tribal elders, and local jirgas will be sought, and all parties will engage in constructive dialogue to eradicate terrorism from its roots and find a durable solution. 1/2

“آج اورکزئی کے علاقے میں ہونے والے دہشتگردی کے واقعے میں قیمتی جانوں کے ضیاع پر نہایت افسردہ ہوں۔ ملٹری آپریشنز میں ہر طرف صرف پاکستانی ہی شہید ہو رہے ہیں، چاہے وہ عام شہری ہوں، پولیس والے ہوں یا فوجی۔ آج کی شہادتوں میں ایک کرنل اور میجر بھی شامل ہیں جو انتہائی افسوس کی بات ہے۔ تمام شہداء کے درجات کی بلندی اور زخمیوں کی جلد صحتیابی کیلئے دعاگو ہوں۔

ملک پر مسلط مافیا کی ناقص پالیسیوں کی وجہ سے اس وقت پاکستان خصوصاً خیبرپختونخوا میں دہشتگردی کی بدترین صورتحال پیدا ہو گئی ہے۔ پاکستان میں اس سال دہشتگردی کے ریکارڈ واقعات ہوئے ہیں جن میں جس بڑی تعداد میں قیمتی جانوں کا نقصان ہوا اس کی مثال ملنا مشکل ہے، جبکہ سال کے اختتام میں ابھی دو مہینے باقی ہیں۔ میں پہلے بھی بارہا کہہ چکا ہوں کہ خیبرپختونخوا سمیت ملک میں دہشتگردی کے مکمل خاتمے کیلئے چار اسٹیک ہولڈرز سے بات چیت ناگزیر ہے جن میں خیبرپختونخوا حکومت، قبائلی علاقوں کی عوام، افغان حکومت اور افغان عوام شامل ہیں۔ موجودہ رجیم نے جنگ و جدل کی جو پالیسی اپنائی ہوئی ہے، وہ حالات کے مزید بگاڑ کی وجہ بن رہی ہے۔

خیبرپختونخوا حکومت کو بارہا ہدایات دیں کہ خیبر پختونخوا میں اپنے ہی شہریوں کے خلاف شروع کیے گئے غیرضروری ملٹری آپریشنز کے خلاف کھڑی ہو، ہمارے دور میں ان تمام علاقوں میں امن قائم ہو چکا تھا، لیکن انتہائی دکھ ہے کہ خیبرپختونخوا حکومت میرے امن کے ویژن پر عملدرآمد میں کامیاب نہیں ہوسکی اور اپنے آپ کو وفاقی حکومت اور سیکیورٹی ایجینسیوں کی جنگی پالیسیوں سے ایسے دور نہیں رکھ سکی جس طرح ضرورت تھی۔ ایسے میں خیبرپختونخوا حکومت میں تبدیلی کے علاوہ کوئی چارہ نہیں ہے۔ میں خیبرپختونخوا کی وزارت اعلیٰ کی ذمہ داریاں سہیل آفریدی کے سپرد کرنے کا اعلان کرتا ہوں۔

ڈرون حملوں، جیٹ طیاروں اور مارٹر گولوں کے ذریعے دہشتگردی کے خلاف جنگ کی پالیسی انتہائی بیوقوفانہ حکمت عملی ہے، جس کے باعث ملک دہشتگردی کے منحوس چکر سے کبھی نکل نہیں پایا۔ آج دہشتگردی کے واقعے میں ہونے والی شہادتوں کے بعد ہماری سیکیورٹی فورسز جواباً کاروائی کریں گی جس کے نتیجے میں دوسری جانب سے پھر ردعمل آئے گا اور یہ سلسلہ اسی طرح چلتا رہے گا۔

ہمارے ساڑھے تین سالہ دورِ حکومت میں دہشتگردی ملکی تاریخ کی کم ترین سطح پر تھی۔ باوجود اس کے کہ اس وقت افغانستان میں بھارت نواز اور پاکستان مخالف اشرف غنی کی حکومت تھی۔ ایسے میں، میں نے ذاتی حیثیت میں افغانستان کا دورہ کیا اور اشرف غنی کو بھی دوطرفہ تعلقات میں بہتری کیلئے پاکستان دورے کی دعوت دی۔ تعلقات بحالی کی عملی کوششوں اور موثر حکمت عملی کے باعث ملک میں بدامنی کے ایسے واقعات نہیں ہوئے جیسے آج ہورہے ہیں۔

دوسری جانب اقتدار پر قابض موجودہ حکمرانوں نے افغانستان میں نئی بننے والی حکومت سے تعلقات کی بہتری کیلئے کوئی اقدام نہیں اٹھایا۔ بلکہ چالیس سال کی مہمان نوازی کے بعد جس طریقے سے افغان پناہ گزینوں کو بے عزت کر کے ملک بدر کیا گیا وہ انتہائی تکلیف دہ ہے۔ بلاول بھٹو ایک سال سے زائد وزارتِ خارجہ کے منصب پر براجمان رہا اور تمام دنیا گھومنے کے باوجود، تاریخ کے اس انتہائی اہم موڑ پر ایک مرتبہ بھی کابل نہیں گیا اور نہ ہی افغان حکومت سے تعلقات کی بہتری کیلئے رابطہ کیا۔

دیرپا قیامِ امن کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ اس معاملے کو بڑے تناظر میں دیکھا جائے، تمام فریقین مل بیٹھ کر افہام و تفہیم سے معاملات حل کریں۔ میں پُرامید ہوں کہ خیبرپختونخوا حکومت میں تبدیلی سے نئی شروعات ہوں گی۔ عوامی نمائندوں، جرگوں اور قبائل سے معاونت حاصل کی جائے گی، دہشتگردی کے مسئلے کو جڑ سے اکھاڑنے کیلئے تمام فریقین بات چیت کے ذریعے معاملہ فہمی سے دیرپا حل دریافت کریں گے۔ مجھے پوری توقع ہے کہ میری ہدایات کے عین مطابق نئے وزیر اعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا سہیل آفریدی میرے ویژن، قبائلی روایات اور عوامی امنگوں کی روشنی میں وفاقی حکومت کو خیبر پختونخوا میں امن کے بہترین فارمولے پر عمل کروانے اور دیر پا امن کے قیام میں بہترین کردار ادا کرنے میں کامیاب ہوں گے۔”

دنیا بھر سےلوگوں کےفوری جنگ بندی کےمطالبےکے باوجود طاقتورممالک/حکومتیں ٹس سےمس نہیں ہورہیں جبکہ اسرائیل پوری ڈھٹائی سے تمام انسانی قوانین، جنگی قواعدوضوابط، قتلِ عام کے حوالے سے اقوامِ متحدہ کے کنونشن کےساتھ جینیوا اور ویاناکنونشنز کی دھجیاں اڑانے میں مصروف ہے۔ وقت آ گیاہے کہ عالمی قائدین (اسرائیل سے) فوری اور مکمل جنگ بندی کا مطالبہ ہی نہ کریں بلکہ اس مطالبے پر عملدر آمدبھی یقینی بنائیں۔

اس باب میں مسلم قیادت ایک قدم آگے بڑھ کر ایک مؤثر کردار ادا کرے کیونکہ غزہ کے باشندے مسلم اُمّہ سے اپنی امیدیں وابستہ کئے ہوئے ہیں کہ وہ اس (وحشت و بربریت) کے خلاف آواز اٹھائیں اور اقدام کریں۔

“The second fabricated Toshakhana case is being hurriedly pushed through in court. Only a few weeks ago, the testimony of the prosecution’s primary witness was exposed as false before the court. Thereafter, my former Military Secretary Brigadier Ahmed and Deputy Military Secretary Colonel Rehan also confirmed that all documentation of gifts was completed strictly in accordance with the rules. All lawyers agree that this case should have been dismissed at the outset by the judge. Despite this, a maliciously motivated and fabricated case continues to be carried forward.

Similarly, another fabricated case against me, the so-called “Cipher Case” - which is the most expensive case in Pakistan’s history, on which tens of millions of the people’s money from the national exchequer has been wasted - proved so weak before the High Court that it should not have survived at the trial court in the first place.

A third major case was manufactured about the Al-Qadir University Trust. Al-Qadir is a welfare-oriented educational institution whose objective is to provide both scientific and religious education to the youth. It was established a year before the funds sanctioned by the Supreme Court were remitted. Yet, by raising absurd questions against a charitable institution, a baseless case was fabricated which had already been dismissed at the trial court stage. Since January, we have been seeking a hearing date in the Islamabad High Court, and now, after ten months, the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Justice Dogar, has scheduled it to be heard on the 16th of October (2025).

The undue haste being shown by Judge Arjumand in the Toshakhana-II case has an underlying motive: to deliver a conviction in this case, so that even if bail is granted in the Al-Qadir case, it would not be possible for me to be released. It is noteworthy that in the past twelve years, three Toshakhana-related cases have all been before this same judge. By law, vehicles cannot be taken from the Toshakhana, yet Nawaz Sharif unlawfully took a bulletproof Mercedes, Asif Zardari illegally extracted three vehicles, and Maryam Nawaz, after unlawfully acquiring a vehicle, neither declared it nor showed it in her tax returns. All of this is on record with irrefutable evidence, yet their cases are not being taken up at all, while a selective and baseless trial against me for lawfully acquired gifts is being fast-tracked.

In the Al-Qadir Trust case, since Zulfi Bukhari persistently refused to give false testimony against me, his property in Pakistan is now being auctioned, due to political vendetta. This is the worst example of political victimization. This lawlessness is what I call “Asim Law”. Decisions in the country today are dictated by whether one is aligned with or opposed to “Asim Law”.

If you stand with Asim Law, miracles can take place. No matter how massive your wheat scandal may be, no one questions you. If you illegally obtain cars from Toshakhana, no case is filed against you. Whether it is the sugar mafia or the land mafia, as long as you are under the umbrella of Asim Law, you remain untouchable. But if you stand against Asim Law, then fabricated cases are concocted against you, you are thrown into prison, and you and your family are subjected to every conceivable form of injustice unprecedented in this nation’s history.

I wish to convey this message to my Pakistanis: the very foundations of moral and judicial values in Pakistan have been torn apart. If you do not rise today for your rights and for the rule of law, the times ahead will be catastrophic. Injustice and fascism will further devastate the economy. In the past three years alone, more than three million Pakistanis have left the country. The policies of the incompetent and fraudulent government have inflicted irreparable damage upon the economy: textile mills are shutting down exports, and the poor masses are rapidly falling below the poverty line.

The very first question they put to me was why my Twitter account carries what they call “anti-state” content. I responded by reminding them that I am a former Prime Minister and I represent eighty percent population of Pakistani. I will speak on every issue that is in the interests of my people. I have every right to raise my voice for them. No power can strip me of this right, nor can anyone silence my voice on matters that concern the interests of my country and my people.

Their second question was why I repeatedly raise the issue of Afghanistan and foreign policy. My answer was that the prudent policies adopted during PTI's tenure ushered in an era of unprecedented peace in Pakistan, most notably in the tribal regions. Today, as military operations drag us back into turmoil, I cannot remain silent while my people are burned in the fire.

During PTI's term in government, Afghanistan was under the anti-Pakistan Ashraf Ghani administration. The Afghan NDS, working in close collaboration with India, was hostile to Pakistan. Even then, we engaged them in dialogue. I personally went to Afghanistan and invited Ashraf Ghani to Pakistan in the interest of peace. This restored peace to the tribal areas and, after a long time, an environment of stability began to take hold there. The then ISI also supported our policy. But the moment Asim Munir assumed command, he turned to threatening the new pro-Pakistan Afghan government and set out to destabilize the situation. Afghan refugees with three generations of roots here were expelled by force, while drone strikes shattered relations between the two nations and destroyed the hard-won peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal areas. There can be no peace until all four stakeholders in the region - the Afghan government, the people of Afghanistan, the Pakistani government, and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa - sit together. History shows that military operations cannot establish peace no matter how much force is used.

The next point of interrogation was about my description of the current situation as “Asim Law.”

My answer was that the destruction taking place everywhere in the country today is under Asim Law. This is not propaganda. It is a statement based on facts and ground realities. First, I was abducted from inside court premises by paramilitary Rangers, and the false-flag operation of 9th May (2023) was orchestrated. That operation was preplanned; otherwise, ten thousand PTI workers could not have been rounded up in mere hours.. The CCTV footage was made to disappear to protect the real culprits. After that, those who held press conferences were set free, and those who continued to stand with PTI were subjected to relentless harassment. This scheme did not just crush PTI; it shattered the very foundations of human rights in the country. After that, when the people entrusted us with a two-thirds mandate, it was stolen, and the very thieves whose tales of corruption the ISI itself once told me were imposed on the nation. The Election Commissioner who should have been charged under Article 6 was granted a nine-month extension. The 26th Constitutional Amendment was passed through the Form 47 Assembly, and judges with no conscience were elevated from whom there is no hope for justice. Every institution has been destroyed.

The ISI, which was working for peace with Afghanistan during PTI's term, has now been reduced to Asim Munir’s personal mafia whose sole duty is to crush PTI by any means. All of this is happening under Asim Law.

The fourth question put to me was why I mention the Fall of Dhaka and compare Asim Munir with Yahya Khan.
