Last week, the first training for our newly recruited Cooperative Marketing Managers (CMMs) was conducted with @Ricem_Rwanda , focusing on developing effective marketing strategies for cooperatives. We're excited to see this program driving growth across our partner cooperatives.

At CORE, we were proud to see our partner cooperatives represented at the event. Our implementing partner, @Ricem_Rwanda , showcased our collaborative efforts, including the launch of the new cooperative training manuals. It was an opportunity to celebrate the progress we aspire.

This Friday, Rwanda celebrated International Cooperative Day ! Cooperative members from across the country, along with public and private stakeholders, gathered to celebrate the achievements of cooperatives in transforming the lives of their members and the nation as a whole.

Keynote speakers emphasized the need for greater product diversification, leadership, and marketing to boost competitiveness locally and internationally. The event also featured an exhibition of cooperative products and vibrant celebrations.

Following the assessment conducted earlier this year with the Performance Management Measurement tool (PM2), our teams in #Rwanda & #Zambia are working with partner cooperatives to develop tailored action plans directly addressing the key challenges identified by the assessment.

Organized by @unilak_rwanda , ICBMI brought together experts, researchers, policymakers and cooperative leaders and members, from various African countries, to explore best practices for cooperatives and entrepreneurship.

This week was filled with experience sharing through research paper presentations, insightful discussions on innovation in entrepreneurial cooperative movement, and an immense networking opportunity for cooperatives and various stakeholders in the #coops development community.

We have just come to a close of our Cooperative Leadership Seminar, and for the occasion, we participated at the International Conference on Business Management and Innovation (ICBMI 2024)

The day concluded with an impactful session by @BankofKigali , discussing how cooperatives and their members can better navigate financing options and offering practical tips to boost their financial growth.
