Flights for 42 rikishi arent cheap. Most will require 2 seats to fly comfortably. Also freight shipping for clay is expensive. Along with lodging and feeding everyone is very expensive.

@SumoFollower I would still be pissed if I was him. Nishonoseki has had 2 of these incidents come out in the last year. Both resulted in a slap on the wrist. If the roles were reversed would the outcome be the same? I say NO. It helps to be the JSA Goldenboy and also be Japanese.

This is a wild article. The evidence is astounding. At a minimum the JSA goldenboy Nishonoseki Oyakata deserves the same punishment as Miyagino, and possibly Nakamura Oyakata aswell. And Tomokaze needs forced retirement and criminal charges IMO for sodomy and sa.

I wouldnt have been as good as I was without my size, but I wouldnt need a double knee replacement by time im 40 without it. Gotta weigh the pros and cons. Thats the price you pay.

I played college football at a position where size was a plus, but the added weight made injuries more common and harder to heal due to the strain and stress on the body. We arent built to carry so much weight.
