For the last 6 1/2 years @SeanKJohnstonM1 has been a part of the @RadiologyUSC family working to help teach our @USC_Rads residents and @KECKSchool_USC#MedStudents about #ERrad, He will sadly be leaving at the end of the month and he will be sorely missed in ER.
Tremendous congratulations to @AliG_Rad for being awarded a 2022 USC mentoring award. All of us in the ER, @USC_Rads and @RadiologyUSC know how hard you work teaching our residents, students, and fellows. A well deserved honor, your a credit to our section and our department.
Pediatric trauma and non-accidental trauma can definitely be a challenge in the #ER. This recent study from the Journal of the American Society of Emergency Radiology looks at pediatric skull fracture, suture involvement, and their relationship with abuse.
