John Marck refused to answer Senator @ChrisCoons's question of whether President Trump is eligible to run for president in 2028.
This isn’t a trick question – it's in the Constitution. If you can’t say a president can’t serve a third term, you shouldn’t be a federal judge. 🚩

Character is not formed out of smart people: it is formed out of people who have suffered.”

Chinese idea of building character. Why does everything have to do with the military? Does the military training really produce social functioning person?
The obsession of military training replacing summer camps is damaging young adult as it reduce actual thinking. You just have to look at what thesis Chinese university produces nowadays.
Where is all of China’s old friends now? A run through of what happens if you ally with China.

🎇Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year (China time). This year is the Year of the Horse—and it is also what is known as the once-in-60-years “Red Horse, Red Goat” year. Looking back at Chinese history, whenever a “Red Horse, Red Goat” year arrived, it was often accompanied by dynastic changes, wars, the death of emperors, or major calamities. That is why people have called it the “Red Horse, Red Goat Calamity.”
So what will this 2026 “Red Horse, Red Goat” year bring to the Chinese people?
On the evening of February 14, a Chinese New Year gala being livestreamed by the official television station of Henan Province was suddenly and urgently halted. At the time, as many as 8 million people were watching simultaneously on Douyin, with another 40 million following the stream. Why was it abruptly stopped?
There are currently three speculations.
🥇 The first is that one of the programs was titled “When the Long Night Burns to Ashes, Mountains and Rivers Shine Under the Moon,” which sounded very much like a call for soldiers to “rise up” and overthrow the Chinese Communist Party, which has brought a "long night" upon the Chinese people.
🥈 The second speculation is that this online gala—produced primarily with AI and without the usual on-stage hosts—contained too much traditional cultural content and too little “Party flavor,” failing to align with the CCP’s narrative of its own greatness.
🥉 The third speculation is that the gala’s creativity and presentation bore too strong a resemblance to the style of Shen Yun Performing Arts @ShenYun, an organization the CCP hates the most, and was therefore urgently shut down.
😇I watched several of the programs of Henan Province. The elements that imitated or borrowed from Shen Yun were indeed quite obvious. However, since it was AI-produced and streamed online, it was nowhere near comparable to Shen Yun’s live stage performances and the powerful impact created by the seamless integration of live dancers and dynamic digital backdrops.
Still, because it portrayed themes outside of CCP Party culture—such as heavenly realms, divine beings, flying apsaras, and celestial maidens—the officially atheist CCP would not tolerate it.
‼️Personally, I believe that the abrupt cancellation of this gala reveals something deeper: people within China’s arts and cultural circles have had enough of the CCP and are attempting to break through under the heavy pressure of Party-imposed cultural control.
Therefore, for the CCP, this 2026 “Red Horse, Red Goat” year may prove to be a very difficult one.
The video I am sharing here is a Year of the Horse New Year greeting produced by Taiwan’s National Palace Museum. I truly love it and am borrowing it to extend my own New Year wishes to you.
Fortunately, when the Kuomintang retreated from mainland China, it brought many artistic treasures with it. As a result, these masterpieces were preserved in Taiwan’s free environment. Otherwise, they might have been destroyed during the Communist Party’s Cultural Revolution and the “Destroy the Four Olds” campaign.
Traditional Chinese culture has been better preserved in Taiwan. Even a simple New Year greeting video surpasses by far the productions made by China’s state broadcaster. So, with this video, I wish you all a Happy Chinese New Year! 🎇
