LMS Reading students in Mrs. Doll's class borrowed books from the "Who Was?" series. Multiple USD 305 libraries loaned books and students shared their learning with a gallery walk. We are lucky the #305Libraries share materials with ALL students in USD 305! #305GrowsGreatness
Our middle school librarians are so grateful for the chance to talk to the soon-to-be sixth graders at their elementary libraries. It is a great opportunity to continue their library excitement in the middle school! #305GrowsGreatness#305Libraries
5 librarians applied for and received Salina Education grants for various projects in the library! We are so lucky to receive support from the SEF to continue successful projects in our libraries! We are so grateful for the community support for all of our libraries!
USD 305 Librarians took an afternoon to visit several district libraries. This is an opportunity to see all the amazing activities happening in our district libraries and gather ideas from each other! What a great opportunity to collaborate! #305GrowsGreatness#305libraries
From Sunset Library: Today, Sunset students are taking a virtual field trip to Colombia! We are learning more about this South American country by looking at books and maps, watching some short videos, and listening to Colombian music.
3 of our district Librarians attended the KLA conference in Wichita on Oct. 27-28. They learned so much great information and got to meet author Steve Sheinkin! He writes nonfiction books for middle grades. What a great experience! #305GrowsGreatness#305Libraries#KLA#KASL
USD 305 Librarians had a chance to visit the South Side libraries around town and get ideas from each other about the set up and usage of their spaces. Such a great way to learn from each other! #305libraries#305GrowsGreatness
From MLR: We had an absolute blast getting to visit with @DanGutmanBooks all the way from his home in NYC! All 2nd-5th graders had a virtual visit with him in the library. A BIG thank you to the @305EdFoundation and our MLR PTO for funding the visit. #MLRProud#305GrowsGreatness
