5 librarians applied for and received Salina Education grants for various projects in the library! We are so lucky to receive support from the SEF to continue successful projects in our libraries! We are so grateful for the community support for all of our libraries!

From MLR: We had an absolute blast getting to visit with @DanGutmanBooks all the way from his home in NYC! All 2nd-5th graders had a virtual visit with him in the library. A BIG thank you to the @305EdFoundation and our MLR PTO for funding the visit. #MLRProud #305GrowsGreatness

Overbooked had our 2nd book club meeting to discuss our latest book (thanks to @305EdFoundation ). Students created a custom collective yarn art piece and discussed about their favorite YA character traits.

Our library has begun a library aide of the month award to recognize those aides that go above and beyond, and our first winner is Adrie. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure our library runs smoothly.

It all started with a seed and ended with a feast! The students got to listen to a story, pick our watermelons, and sample our harvest! Thank you to Mr. Cusick and our student gardeners for such an amazing experience!
