President Trump is delivering REAL relief for American farmers when they need it most! 🇺🇸🚜

With harvest season underway, our dyed diesel initiative is projected to provide approximately $640 MILLION in combined federal and state savings across 224 million harvested acres.

And now, thanks to @VP and @SecScottBessent, farmers are receiving additional federal reporting and recordkeeping relief for covered dyed diesel use through the end of 2026.

Less paperwork, less red tape, and more money staying in the hands of the hardworking men and women who feed, fuel, and clothe America.

Promises made. Promises kept.

@VP & @SecRollins announced $1.34B in total proposed investment to support 8 fertilizer manufacturing projects through USDA's Fertilizer Investment & Expansion for Long-Term Domestic Supply (FIELDS) Program.

This effort is expected to reduce foreign reliance, lower fertilizer costs, and expand U.S. capacity for nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, & sulfur.

Big win for American farmers! 💪🇺🇸

More fertilizer MADE IN AMERICA. Lower costs for American farmers. 🇺🇸

Under @POTUS, @USDA has selected eight projects through our FIELDS program representing $1.34 BILLION in total investment to expand American fertilizer production.

✅ 22 manufacturing locations across 16 states.
✅ $73.1 MILLION recovered from failed Biden-era projects and redirected to domestic manufacturing.
✅ Nearly 40% more American potash production projected once projects are operational.
✅ Expanded supply expected to drive fertilizer prices DOWN.

Thank you to @VP for championing American fertilizer production and our farmers.

Less dependence on foreign suppliers. More production here at home. FARMERS FIRST.

Producers can reap many benefits through @USDA_NRCS' Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).

In Oregon, Mike Burton received cost-share funding through EQIP for a high tunnel, which has extended his growing season by six weeks and protects his crops from the high winds in his area.

SHAWTY DRED, MEET THE FEDS. 🚨

SNAP fraud isn’t a side hustle. It’s a federal crime.

[New World Screwworm Rapid Response @Screwworm_RR]

🚨 USDA Confirms First Detection of New World Screwworm in U.S. Wildlife.

New World screwworm has been confirmed in an elk on a Pecos County, TX game ranch. USDA has prepared for NWS cases in wildlife and is working with TX partners to increase wildlife surveillance in the area.

The case was reported after the elk was harvested by a hunter, underscoring how vital hunters, landowners, and outdoor enthusiasts are in spotting and reporting NWS early.

As hunting seasons continue, stay alert for:
• Maggots in wounds or body openings
• Open or foul-smelling injuries
• Weak, isolated, or distressed animals
• Signs of infestation around the nose, mouth, ears, eyes, or genital areas

If you see anything suspicious, report it immediately. Quick action helps protect wildlife, livestock, and pets.

[USDA OIG @OIGUSDA]

“SNAP fraud despicably robs from low-income Americans that rely on the program for food assistance and diverts taxpayer funds to line the pockets of fraudsters and bankroll other criminal activities like guns and drugs that make American communities less safe. No more! USDA OIG is committed to support Vice President Vance’s leadership to disrupt fraud schemes and send criminals straight to prison. I am honored to stand with Vice President Vance today and grateful for our special agents whose work as part of this nationwide surge brought significant law enforcement actions against fraudsters in dozens of cases across the country. This surge is only the beginning. USDA OIG will continue to unite behind our partners in the whole-of-government fight to eliminate fraud and hold fraudsters to account,” said USDA Inspector General John Walk.

[Dept. of Agriculture @USDA]

Under @POTUS' leadership, USDA is protecting taxpayer dollars and holding those who exploit the system accountable.

SNAP benefits are meant to feed vulnerable Americans, NOT line the pockets of fraudsters.

@OIGUSDA Inspector General John Walk, @DepSecVaden, and USDA are proud to stand alongside @VP in this fight.

If you steal from the American taxpayer, you WILL be brought to justice. 🇺🇸

[Deputy Secretary Stephen Vaden @DepSecVaden]

Today, after years of inaction by the previous administration, @USDA_FNA is releasing a proposed rule to require States to issue chip enabled EBT cards, among other integrity measures. This complements the work of @USDA, @VP, @WHFraudTF, and @AFergusonFTC to stop fraud, waste, and abuse in food stamps. This will also prevent BILLIONS in stolen benefits. [Secretary Brooke Rollins @SecRollins]

Shawty Dred, SNAP is for feeding hungry Americans, NOT feeding your hustle. 💸🚫

The taxpayer-funded gravy train is OVER.

Thanks to @VP, @WHFraudTF, @DepSecVaden, @USDA_FNA and USDA OIG’s John Walk for helping put SNAP fraud on notice. 🇺🇸

[Dept. of Agriculture @USDA]

A clear message from @SecRollins: SNAP fraud will NOT be tolerated.

Alongside @VP and @WHFraudTF, USDA is protecting taxpayer dollars and holding fraudsters accountable.

[The White House @WhiteHouse]

U.S. taxpayer-funded programs are for Americans ONLY.

Illegal aliens who have no right to be here in the first place have no business collecting SNAP benefits or any other form of welfare.

More transparency to cattle market cash reporting ✅

@SecRollins has announced an update to the @USDA_AMS Livestock Mandatory Reporting cash cattle reports. This update supports USDA’s cattle and beef-market transparency objectives by providing producers, livestock sellers, packers, and other market participants with more meaningful information about negotiated cash cattle prices.

[Secretary Brooke Rollins @SecRollins]

Under President @POTUS, we are FIGHTING New World screwworm head-on — and we are WINNING.

Today in Columbus, New Mexico, I met with ranchers and state leaders and toured the stockyards to discuss our aggressive efforts to STOP this devastating pest before it threatens American livestock.

The Trump Administration’s aggressive response is delivering REAL results:

✅ More than 1.5 BILLION sterile flies released to stop the spread.

✅ Just 56 total cases, with only 5 currently active — compared to more than 90,000 cases in Texas alone during the 1972 outbreak.

✅ Moore Air Base sterile fly facility moving YEARS ahead of schedule to dramatically expand our ability to fight this pest.

These are the results of aggressive action, relentless surveillance, and an Administration committed to protecting American agriculture.

It was great to be in Columbus today as our phased reopening of southern livestock ports continues, with strict safeguards in place to protect American livestock.

But the fight is NOT over.

We will continue using every tool at our disposal to keep New World screwworm OUT of the United States and protect the livelihoods of our American ranchers.

Under President Trump, we are putting RANCHERS FIRST!

[New World Screwworm Rapid Response @Screwworm_RR]

NEW: @SecRollins announced the next steps in @USDA’s phased reopening of southern livestock ports:

🐂 COLUMBUS, NM: Planned reopening to cattle on October 26. Every animal must undergo multiple inspections before entering the U.S.

🐎 SANTA TERESA, NM: Horse imports are planned to resume on October 26. Import quarantine must take place at the USDA-approved facility on the U.S. side. Mexican-side import quarantine facilities remain closed.

🐂 NOGALES, AZ: Planned reopening to cattle imports on November 30, if conditions continue to support safe trade and required inspection arrangements and infrastructure are in place.

Protecting American livestock remains the priority.
