Day 2 of growing @Blogged_App to $100K MRR.
I’m building a free-tool acquisition engine.
The easy mistake is treating this as a coding task:
“Copy the tools my competitors have.”
That is backwards.
It is a product strategy task first. Here’s my process: 🧵
My dusty growth marketer hat is back on. Day 1 focused mainly on the marketing site, optimizing it for high conversions, potential customers, SEO, and LLMs. https://t.co/oVhfiAkI8k
Day 1: P1 of Growing https://t.co/ooOd3ql0Yx (@Blogged_App) 100K MRR
Let me start with the basics [marketing site].
A SaaS marketing site is as important as the product. It should cover all the points below, and I will explain what I did and why in this thread
1. Strong, high-converting landing page
2. All your SaaS top product workflows, not just features dumbing
3. Clear pricing, as long as you're serving B2C and B2B SMEs
4. Social proof: REAL, or leave it out
5. Let buyers experience your SaaS: interactive demo when feasible; video otherwise.
6. Compare your SaaS with its top competitors. Show where you win and where you lose.
7. SEO optimization: sitemap, robots, canonicals, internal links, and on-page SEO
8. GEO/AEO optimization: direct answers, citations, JSON-LD, and llms.txt.
