The concern, he said, goes beyond whether students are trained to use AI tools. If junior employees no longer learn through routine assignments, management education will have to find other ways of developing judgement.

“For a century, we learn judgement on the job, slowly through apprenticeship…and if AI removes the apprenticeship, where will the next generation of judgement be?” he said.
