The Jews were spread throughout the world, dissipated and (people thought), rejected.

Scholars were trying to make sense of prophecy and decided the Church must be the new 'Israel'.

That should have ended in 1948.

God doesn't lie.

CAN YOU LOVE THE JEWISH MESSIAH AND HATE THE JEWS?

There is something spiritually grotesque about praising Jesus while despising the people He came from.

Jesus is Jewish.

He was born into Israel.
He was circumcised on the eighth day.
He worshiped in the synagogue.
He celebrated Israel’s feasts.
He taught from the Hebrew Scriptures.
His apostles were Jewish.
He was crucified under the title:
KING OF THE JEWS.

And after His resurrection, He is still called:
“The Lion of the tribe of Judah.”
Revelation 5:5

So no, antisemitism is not a minor inconsistency.
It is a direct contradiction.

Paul warned Gentile believers:

“Do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches.”
Romans 11:18

And again:

“Do not be arrogant, but tremble.”
Romans 11:20

Why?

Because God has not rejected Israel.

“God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew.”
Romans 11:2

And concerning Israel:

“As far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.”
Romans 11:28–29

Irrevocable means irrevocable.

The covenants were not revoked.

The promises were not reassigned.
God did not abandon Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David.

God told Abraham:

“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.”
Genesis 12:3

And through Zechariah:
“Whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye.”
Zechariah 2:8

That is not disposable language.

That is covenant language.

And Paul’s own heart toward unbelieving Israel was not contempt.

It was anguish.

“I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.”
Romans 9:2

Paul wept.

Yet some who claim to follow Jesus mock Jews, despise Israel, celebrate Jewish suffering, and speak as though God is finished with the very people Paul loved.

That is not the heart of Paul.

And it is not the heart of Israel’s Messiah.
But there is an even deeper issue.

Antisemitism has a spiritual history.

From the beginning, the kingdom of darkness has opposed the purposes of God.
The promised Seed was announced.

Then came the attacks.

Pharaoh tried to destroy Hebrew sons.

Haman sought to wipe out the Jewish people.

Herod tried to kill the promised King.

Hitler...

Hamas...

Hezbollah...

Again and again, the assault came against the people through whom God had chosen to bring His purposes into the world.

Why?

Because the Messiah would come through Israel.

Because the covenants run through Israel.

Because the promises run through Israel.

Because God said:

“My covenant I will not break.”
Psalm 89:34

Satan failed to stop Him.

He could not stop Bethlehem.

He could not stop the cross.

He could not stop the resurrection.

The Messiah came.

But the story is not finished.

Jesus told Jerusalem:

“You will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
Matthew 23:39

That confession comes from Psalm 118:26:

בָּרוּךְ הַבָּא בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה

Baruch haba b’shem Adonai.

Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD.

Do not miss the significance.

Israel’s future is bound up with the return of her King.

And Revelation pulls back the curtain on the spiritual conflict:

“The dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring.”
Revelation 12:17

The hatred is not random.

The enemy hates what God has chosen.

He hates what God has promised.

He hates the people connected to the covenants.

He hates the city from which the King will reign.

And he hates the future day when Jerusalem will finally cry:

BARUCH HABA B’SHEM ADONAI.

So if you hate the Jewish people, understand the company your hatred keeps.

Pharaoh tried.

Haman tried.

Empires tried.

The dragon will try again.

But hell cannot revoke a covenant God swore to keep.

It cannot erase the descendants of Abraham.

It cannot cancel the promises.

It cannot prevent the restoration.

And it cannot stop the return of the King.

God even ties Israel’s continued existence to the fixed order of creation:

“Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the LORD, “will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.”
Jeremiah 31:36

And the very next verse declares that only if the heavens could be measured and the foundations of the earth searched out would God reject all the descendants of Israel.

Jeremiah 31:37

That is how strongly God speaks.

This is why Gentile arrogance toward Israel is so serious.

The moment believers boast against the natural branches, declare Israel discarded, or sneer at the Jewish people, they are doing exactly what Romans 11 forbids.

“You do not support the root, but the root supports you.”
Romans 11:18

And Scripture gives another warning:

“Do not touch my anointed ones.”
Psalm 105:15

Remember the root.

Remember the covenants.

Remember the patriarchs.

Remember the Messiah.

You cannot curse the people from whom your Messiah came and call it faithfulness.

You cannot boast against the branches and call it sound theology.

You cannot participate in the ancient hatred of the Jewish people and pretend it has nothing to do with the spiritual war raging through Scripture.

The Messiah is Jewish.

The calling is irrevocable.

The promises still stand.

Israel will remain.

Jerusalem will yet speak the words Jesus said she would speak:

BARUCH HABA B’SHEM ADONAI.

And when she does, the counterfeit kingdom will have failed again.

Satan could not stop the Messiah from coming.

He will not stop the Messiah from returning.
