@UtdWrestlinTalk@theMadridZone@MarioCortegana@FrankEra_ broski Mateus Fernandes wants to join a team he gets plenty of minutes in, Going to madrid is just gonna set back his development. They already have plenty of midfielders with the likes of bernardo, jude, valeverde, tchouameni, guler.
Lewis Hall largely blames Eddie Howe for missing out on World Cup place and is seeking a move from Newcastle. #mufc in the market for a long-term left back

🚨👀 ONE TO WATCH: Alex Scott and Manchester United. 🔴 #MUFC
Alex Scott remains a player admired by Manchester United, with both United and Liverpool FC among the clubs showing the strongest interest at this stage.
United have held fresh discussions with Scott’s camp in recent days to better understand the player’s availability and situation ahead of the summer window. 🤝
As I previously reported, Scott is open to a move to Manchester United and is understood to be very positive about the project being presented to him. 👀
One issue remains the valuation. United are not entirely comfortable with the price being set by AFC Bournemouth, similar to their stance regarding Newcastle’s asking price for Sandro Tonali. 💰
Scott remains high on United’s midfield shortlist, with Michael Carrick known to be a big admirer of the player and his profile. 📊🔥
The immediate focus is still on Mateus Fernandes, but there is a belief internally that the club have the financial flexibility to pursue both Fernandes and Scott should they decide those are the priority midfield additions this summer. ✅
United are also continuing to assess other midfield options as part of their wider recruitment plans.
For now, Fernandes remains the priority, but don’t rule out attention turning towards Alex Scott as the window develops. ⏳

There are people complaining that Manchester United won’t bid for Elliot Anderson, or should just pay the money - so I’ll repeat the same thing I said after the first bid. There is no point bidding for a player that has decided they do not want to join the club.
City bid for Anderson because he has clearly indicated that he wants to go there. The reasons? Irrelevant. That is where he wants to go. In the transfer market you bid with encouragement to do so from the players' camp. Why would a meaningless bid be better?
Sadly Anderson hasn't been the main focus in a while & they have moved onto other targets, it is becoming clear why that was. The club wanted him, did what they could & he picked someone else. That isn't a slight on their ambition. It's the reality that they can't compete with City's wages & fee involved.
It was the same with Antoine Semenyo. Money talks. Manchester United have not recovered financially from years of transfer & contract mistakes, they still have some on their books. It'll take more time & good season on good season to fix that.
It is often the people complaining the loudest who either don't know how the game is played, or are being actively ignorant about it & don't want to learn.
🚨| Following regular and encouraging discussions with Mateus Fernandes’ camp over the past week, Manchester United are increasingly confident they have received enough positive indications from the player to move forward with attempts to strike an agreement with West Ham. 👀🔴
Despite reports elsewhere, United have no intention of meeting the £80m–£85m valuation being quoted.
The feeling remains positive, but the fee is still the biggest obstacle.

First 📞 by @shaunconnolly85
there is a growing expectation that a bid will be submitted soon. 👀🔴
As I’ve said before, United remain confident of completing a deal for Mateus Fernandes. ✅
Now it’s all about seeing how the negotiations develop.

@WestHam_Central what do you mean West Ham arnt in a rush, I think It’s the other way around United aren’t in a rush to Bid. West ham have to make sells before PSR year
#MUFC have begun talks with #WHU for Mateus Fernandes. United have no desire to pay the £80M asking fee from West Ham and ideally don't want a long saga. 21 yo is keen on a move as reported. However, internal chaos at #WHU after Sullivan left. @UtdDistrict https://t.co/iUZ8IYmkIk
@DevildetailsMU Leao isn’t even £40 he’s around £50-55, His form has been off for like 2 years, He has Attitude problems and we see what happens to player like that who come to united. Ndiaye is a skillful winger versatile can play on both sides, He also both footed and prem proven.
We need to sign Mateus Fernandes before the start of the world cup. £60+5 mil would probably do it, PSG are lurking and can act fast since there is a chance Neves or Vitinha leave this summer to Madrid. #MUFC
