I hate that LEGO is one step shy of being Funko Pops now, concentrating so heavily on licensed pop culture properties aimed at adults, instead of original "generic" themes to stir the imagination of children. But I guess I'm old and this kinda stuff just doesn't sell anymore.
honestly a true reflection of society rn. you tell somebody you wanna do something other than medicine or technology and they look at you like you have a horn on your forehead.
we need more liberal arts students, not less. we wonder why everyone is getting dumber. we wonder why no one can read. we wonder why everyone lacks critical thinking skills. it’s because higher education is completely inaccessible
the blood and soil native nyers over on tiktok are complaining about the girl who’s fixing broken and lost tiles in the subway system and calling it “gentrification” and “erasing character”
you all overly identify with suffering, decay, and immiseration and call it character
Hansen is not depicted as an uncaring grifter in Primetime. He is depicted as someone who (delusionally) believes that he is God’s chosen soldier against the world’s greatest evil. He is completely obsessed with it as if it is his sacred duty. This scene pictured here, is him MOCKING the producer for caring more about ratings than saving kids. Worth noting to those who have not seen the film.
Art is subjective no matter how hard you try to shoehorn "objectivity" into the sphere. What you consider "the best" and "the favorites" are indistinguishable.
In this scene he’s making fun of his producer for only caring about the show ratings instead of kids becoming victimized. Maybe you were on your phone the entire time because how can you say he was the bad guy in this scene specifically?
