At approx 6pm this evening, a man allegedly tried to stab children in Marmion Court on Queen St, as per Cllr @MalachySteenson
At this time, the man remains at large and no one has been apprehended.
A number of gardai raced to the scene, including a squad car where they searched for the man both on foot and by car. More details to come.
