@TouiteurThug@wrossmonahan@Xavier_Triche@Braves It’s more of the fact the Braves will see a guy succeed for a few weeks (start of the season for dom) and then fall off the face of the earth and be awful the rest of the season, and still throw the guy in the lineup holding onto the hope he’ll randomly figure it out
@CobyValentine24 The Braves had their rotation lined up. If you can’t take care of business before game 162 you shouldn’t get to rest your pitchers. Clinch a playoff spot earlier and wheeler doesn’t pitch 162
@ChoppinBravos Riley will be the wildcard in October, if (strong if) he gets back to his normal self this offense is dangerous no matter who is on the mound. And we are going to need some runs against good pitching especially with our rotation
@James_Schiano@tommysetnar What can he do, pitchers got themselves in a mess and want a superhuman throw to bail them out? There’s no way he throws the runner out from that deep unless there’s a baserunning mistake
@JrGuengerich The guys we got in 2021 had been in someway notable in their career and we made moves hoping they could turn back the clock and they did, we didn’t even do that this deadline
@jawascom83@Braves How do you defend as here? We needed a pitcher in the worst way possible and we just watched everyone around us get better and we did nothing
@ritchieloggins@Braves So when we scrape by and make the playoffs, when an actual good team runs their ace vs sale and then a guy who is still a dominant pitcher in game 2, who is you’re answer to that
@metsfan8626@ChoppinBravos AA is treated like a god in the a because his bargain bin deadline worked one time, without a real gm it’s going to be extremely difficult to win another World Series before our fading window closes
