@KyleCTTU@BawzRs@PeteNakos@On3 i never said they were lol, i’m answering your question of “what else would they do if their conference took preemptive actions against them” and am just showing that you’re wrong that TTU can’t get rid of him; they can without facing any legal repercussions whatsoever 👍
@KyleCTTU@BawzRs@PeteNakos@On3 NIL contracts don’t guarantee a roster spot, public or not. and the injunction only stops the NCAA from saying he’s ineligible, it doesn’t force TTU to keep him on the team, he would have to take separate legal action against his own school for that
@KyleCTTU@BawzRs@PeteNakos@On3 i don’t think he’d have a case since TTU could claim it’s “for cause” based on him violating an NCAA rule, plus his NIL contract doesn’t guarantee a roster spot, no?
@KyleCTTU@BawzRs@PeteNakos@On3 cant argue with the laundry list. but to your original question - if the conference comes after them, the easiest solution is removing him, not all these legal battles. and as far as I know (correct me if I’m wrong), there’s nothing legally binding TTU to keeping him on the team
@KyleCTTU@BawzRs@PeteNakos@On3 they could remove sorsby from their team and the problem would be solved. if he was the third string it would’ve already happened
