@Isabela14686833@Gildarik@DaughterOfEri There is no power on earth that can match the power of religion in protecting the sanctity of the system, guaranteeing the coherence of society and the stability of its system, and providing the means of peace and security.
@Isabela14686833@Gildarik@DaughterOfEri Does the objective system not need a deterrent that will deter one from transgressing and encourage one to follow the system, one that carries weight in people’s hearts and prevents them from overstepping its limits?
@Isabela14686833@Gildarik@DaughterOfEri Sure I agree. Their reward isn’t necessarily a better life, and it isn’t necessarily an instant transaction, and it isn’t necessarily something they have knowledge of. Read if you want to know more: https://t.co/lRAOu43DRN
Even believers themselves suffer hardship and troubles.
@Isabela14686833@Gildarik@DaughterOfEri I’m a Muslim. I believe in Islam. If Islam had been a religion about controlling women and the poor, the prophet peace be upon him would not have chosen poverty when offered riches, and would not have emancipated women from their pre-islamic traditions.
@Isabela14686833@Gildarik@DaughterOfEri To clarify what I meant by the second one. It’s only God who can reward and punish, so doing an act in hopes of being rewarded by God and leaving an act in fear of being punished by God, are both acts done for God, and who God is.
@Isabela14686833@Gildarik@DaughterOfEri Secondly, if my act of worship is in hopes of being rewarded by God, then that is an act done in God’s sake.
Lastly, whoever does good for worldly purposes, will be rewarded in this world. Whoever does good in obedience to God, will be rewarded in both this world and the next.
@chief_queef444@Gildarik@DaughterOfEri God is All-Forgiving for those who deserve forgiveness, and punishing to those who deserve punishment.
Because God is All-Forgiving, the door of repentance is always open for those who seek it.
Because God is All-Forgiving, you were given a scripture to know God by.
@chief_queef444@Gildarik@DaughterOfEri Whether you choose to worship God or not, that doesn’t affect God. God ordered people to worship to see who will obey and who will not.
@Isabela14686833@Gildarik@DaughterOfEri I’m taught by my religion to prostrate myself to God, and to do good to others. If I happen to only “kneel at home” as you say, and not help the world around me, then I definitely won’t expect God to reward me in the same way as the one who did both.
@Isabela14686833@Gildarik@DaughterOfEri Sure buddy. You don’t need religion to do kind acts. A person could donate to charity, feed the homeless, and be kind to others, without religion. But when push comes to shove, you filter those who are good because they want to be, and those who are good because they need to be.
