here for news. don’t follow me. was quiet but decided to call out both side’s stupidity. most people are in the middle but we let the extremes govern us
@OLFan43619@thelazyboymf@TopTierCyclones No it doesn’t. Punish every school that violates NCAA and conference bylaws regarding gambling. Iowa State and Iowa lost athletes due to gambling. This isn’t a unique TT issue. Only TT though is trying to play a kid who knowingly gambled on his games. Help the kid but bench him
@thelazyboymf@OLFan43619@TopTierCyclones Did they know he was betting while playing there? Even if they did, it still doesn’t change how TT needs to act. Betting on games that you’re involved with is a red line. ISU players were recently dinged for betting. Same has to be true here. TT can support but not play him
@OLFan43619@TopTierCyclones Did Cincy and IU know he was gambling or had gambled when he was rostered? If not, it is apples and oranges. Allowing players who have gambled on their own games opens a dangerous door that threatens the integrity of college games. TT should support the kid but never play him
@DeaceOnline 🤨 really??? You think that statement clarifies the situation? Why not show the contract then? Surely if she believed an Iowa based workforce was part of the deal, that would be part of the contract. Otherwise, this company’s track record speaks for itself
@tory4heisman You’re an idiot, which is no surprise. He told the story of a kid whose dad brought him here, the kid was doing everything he needed for legal status, no criminal record, and was taken at an immigration appointment. Pull back the hyperbole and use basic critical thinking
@info_billings@SethAbramson $300m was to structually fix it. The tacky blue coating is a cheap temporary bandaid. Based on your grammar and word usage, it is ironic you’d accuse any one of having a disability.
@TMfin78@RobSandIA Supporting students should be more important than requiring them to attend a system that may not be best for their education. Learn the definition of fact. Most Iowa students have access to only one public district. That’s not choice no matter how incessantly you claim otherwise
@jackunheard Apples and oranges. Gas prices wouldn’t be high but for Trump attacking Iran. Before the war, gas was cheap but Trump’s decision had a causal and predictable effect on high oil prices. Trump said he knew oil would rise bc of war. Gas was high under Biden bc Putin attacked Ukraine
